Why is it hard to believe that after a year in Cameron's system, Jennings was better prepared to be the starter than Harris straight out of high school?

Ive seen more than a few posts (although it could have been regurgitated B.S.) that Harris called plays from his high school playbook against Auburn.

Just sayin'. Pro style is THE most difficult to learn. Give both these kids some slack.

This is hilarious if true

But yes, give him a chance to figure this out. I'm a broken record saying this, but he has all the motivation in the world to grab this job by the horns. Jennings did nothing for himself after the auburn game, and it's quite clear who's the most talented.

And that thing AJ said.

Most ridiculous thing I'll prob read all day.

He looked pretty good vs NMSU after Jennings back to back to back turnovers.

Unfortunately, even if he was better prepared, his season performance was subpar. He actually regressed as a passer as the season went on. He struggled badly against New Mexico St. He didn't do too much better than Harris when he was substituted in against Auburn.
Hopefully he improves, but based on a seasons worth of games, he is lacking in talent... At least Harris has that going for him.

Yes it is. If you've paid attention to Les during his tenure at LSU Jennings is the starter as long as he is eligible.

You really should stop repeating everything you hear. He couldn't hit a damn screen pass against Wisconsin and his decision-making improved noticeably as the season went on.

Knowing more than this staff is not saying much.

And we won't win anything with AJ under center...but please, by all means, continue to delude yourself.

Why? His 38% completion rate in the SEC with two TDs and two interceptions thrilled you some how or maybe it was his 56 passing efficiency against ranked teams? I know why. He has a big arm. Right?

If you really have to ask, then you're a bigger dumass than you're given credit for. He has more upside....period.

He hasn't developed that upside yet....apparently....but he has more than AJ. If your contention is that AJ is the answer, based on what we saw this year, then I feel sorry for you.

Many would question this, back to the days of JJ and Lee.

JL was the starter in 08, but loss that position due to his on the field actions and injury. JL was the starter for 8 games in 2011, but loss that position cause of his on the field actions. Jennings was the starter in on 2014, but loss that position due to his actions on the field. Harris took over starting, but loss that position due to his actions on the field.

Why people persist in acting as if there is some kinda irrational favoritism going on is beyond me.

What bout the season before last with Miles and Cam which showed a fair amount of development from 2012? What bout the improved QB play in 2011 from 2009 and 2010?

Why don't we let guys who were a tr. fresh. and true So. last season have a break and wait to see if they can develop before slamming them.

It's always amusing to me that we rave bout signing these guys a yr or 2 ago and then piss all over them as failures if they are not successful right away.

Based on Miles statements: no.

Based on reality/past history: yes.

But I'm hopeful for Harris regardless.

What do you mean not successful right away . So a whole season is "right away". Gtfo. Jennings had a whole season to progress and has not. It is time to move on.
