Is it me or was LM trying to tell us something about Jennings

With Zack playing way better than last year and shined, why would LM say in his presser yesterday that they should have played Anthony Jennings more. I hope he isn't pushing to go to a two quarterback system this year b/c he would be breaking the chemistry they have going. What is with LM's passion for the option quarterback!!

I think you'll see a Jennings Red zone play or two. And I think it's a good idea.

Jennings is third cousins with Jordan Jefferson, Chad and Al Woods, and his half brothers are Ricky Jefferson and Rahim Alem.

Ding ding. Just another wrinkle opposing defenses will have to prepare for. I'd like to see Jennings some in the short redzone. We obviously need help there.

Wasn't that in response to someone asking which freshman Les thought should get more playing time against UAB? I doubt he intends to do anything but get Jennings, next year's starter, as many reps as he can before next season. If we had put TCU away earlier, Jennings would have gotten more reps. I'm sure Les has a want to dispose of UAB early so he can get Jennings more reps and avoiad what happened to Mett last year. There will be no two QB system. Chill.

just because jennings is black doesnt make him an option QB. Yes he can move a little bit, but he is a complete QB. I can't wait for him to step in next year. Hopefully he puts in plenty of extra work with Cam and uses this year to prepare himself!

He's trying to tell you that Jennings is going to be the starter next year barring anything unforeseen and he'd like to get him a few snaps under his belt before being thrust into action.

My guess is, He has more confidence in Jennings running the short side option vis-a-vis Mett
