Not really. Jayden can make you look silly . Milroe hasn’t ran for much yardage at all this year.

Yall are in for a surprise then.

I would use a 4 man methodical blitz to keep him in the pocket and also use a spy (Perkins) if he breaks containment or to pressure him.

Lots of blitzes is a horrible game plan.

Here's an idea:name a blitz for every state in the USA plus the territories.

Yes, it forces him to make decisions and he will make mistakes
I'm a bit torn on this. Milroe is absolutely a stud running, and we've seen pocket guys like the Auburn QB pick up a lot of yards when they take off.

On the other hand, the highlights I've seen of Milroe's deep passes, he's standing back in the pocket. He may not be accurate in your regular throws, but the deep ones he's hitting.

The missing ingredient seems to be a fast middle linebacker (not Perkins).
If we can send Perkins, and have someone capable of containing Milroe when he's flushed, we're in good shape. But if we send Perkins and he doesn't get him, he's gonna run for 20+ yards until a safety corrals him.

If we just contain him and keep him in the pocket, we'll force incompletions on crossing routes etc, but he'll hit a couple deep passes.

Need some zone blitzing and MOST IMPORTANTLY

disguising coverages, alignments and pre-snap shifts will turn Milroe’s brain into mush and he will make tons of mistakes.

Milroe is a lot like KJ at Ark. Hard to bring down due to his size but no one runs like JD. As long as we have gap responsibility we can keep him in check. Wondering who is going to step up for Wengo. That is more important. Need huge game from JJ and Maason but will need another to step up.

you're disregarding sacks... if Milroe runs 6 times a game, then JD would be around 8.
