Good Lord, who even remembers him (BS) at LSU? What..went one semester and probably never received a grade in any class.

No one is. The only athletes close are:

Ben McDonald: won Golen Spikes but no national title
Todd Walker: won about every award imaginable (sans the Golden Spikes) and a national title
Shaq: Won every award imaginable but no national title
Billy Cannon: won the Heisman and a national title but not in the same year
Pete Maravich: best player in college basketball by a mile and maybe the best college player ever, but the team did diddly squat with him

Ben Simmons is a selfish bum who will never win anything of significance in the NBA.

Joe Burrow is the greatest LSU athlete of all time

So no they aren’t on the same level

Whoa...that's a lot of hyperbole there.

Simmons was ROY in 2018 and has been an all-star the past 2 seasons. Let's pump the breaks on calling him a bum. He's not in the same stratosphere as Burrow in terms of his legacy at LSU, but he's not a bum in the NBA, far from it.

Flawed opinion. How is someone selfish when he leads the team in rebounds, scoring, and assists?

If only he had played for Wade or even Brady it’d be a different story.

Simmons and Burrow are on the same level of being picked number 1 overall in their respective professional drafts, that’s about it. Talented players, but opposite end of the maturity spectrum.

But should you personally know about Simmons? Well, you’re a Gator fan that plays CoD a lot so I don’t think you’re too worried about LSU basketball history or probably basketball in general.

As an LSU alum, Ben Simmons popularity with me is somewhere in between Dwayne Schintzius and Joakim Noah. Does that answer your stupid fricking question?

Ben Simmons is a shitty sellout and doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Joe Burrow.

Maybe alongside Shaqdouchenozzle though.

To be fair, one was in his mid 20s during his time at LSU, one was not even 20 yet... That's A LOT of development.

Also helps that Burrow was surrounded by world class talent and great coaching.

Simmons was surrounded by mediocre (that may be being nice), and terrible coaching

pump the breaks, guy.

Shaq is easily above the level, especially worldwide.
PLENTY of people don't yet know who BDJ is. IF he wins an SB, then maybe that changes.

Hell, Bregman won a WS* with the Astros. Many other LSU athletes are nationally recognized. Honey Badger, Fournette, etc

It depends on if we're talking about just what they accomplished at LSU (which is what I was thinking) or if we're including post LSU careers too. If post LSU careers are included, then absolutely Shaq should be included.
