Yup. It was funny for a few days, but now it's just some lame go-to for a laugh.

I think it's dumb, but it doesn't give LSU negative publicity. I looks like the players had fun with it today, so it defiantly doesn't hurt anything.

If that bothers you probably should see a therapist.

Have you seen his called out for ALS video? His players loved it (check out Lae'l and Dillon)and it was entertaining as hell.

He can use whatever schtick he chooses. He will be the greatest coach in LSU history. We're proud to have him!

I'd rather have a coach known for winning championships regularly than one know for garden munching and headwear. But that's just me.

I mean enough is enough. I don't see any other coaches carrying on about eating crazy shite.

I don't see the upside of these antics

Here's the upside. Les' kooky antics plays well to the media. Despite some criticism on ESPN, the sports shows love him. It keeps LSU in the spotlight and a 17 year old kid is goiung to see Les as a "real guy". Not some cheap car salesman that sells their program then turns on you once you sign. The vast majority of Miles' players love him and would walk through fire for the guy.

Despite our purple and gold hue that we view the world through, there are a lot of programs that blue chip players could choose. It's Les' persona as well as his staff that draw these kids here.

There are plenty of things you could criticize Les for, but this is not one of them. The fact that Les is not a native and he fell in love with LSU speaks volumes to recruits. We are recruiting outside the state better then this program has ever done and that's a reflection of Miles' charm and dedication to LSU.

Sure, I'm tired of it. But remember, Miles didn't start it, nor is he perpetuating it. He's just being a sport about it. So should you.

The joke is getting a tad old, especially for LSU fans, but i don't blame LSU/Miles for letting it go on....we're literally getting millions of dollars in free advertising. As goofy as he is, Les Miles is really the only LSU football coach ever to become a "national brand" while coaching at LSU. Saban eventually became a national brand, but not really until after his LSU tenure.

The grass is just a small part, but Miles has certainly become a "face of college football", which is a great thing for him and for LSU.

This. Our fans bitch way too much about dumb stuff. I honestly wouldn't trade Miles for anyone. Some people don't get him and never will.

Incidentally, he's not going anywhere so you might as well accept him.
