he has looked good, so has Epps and Blakeney. The 3 most impressive to me outside of Simmons

and he is a juco guy not exactly a 2nd year player

Great spark plug off the bench.

If we can get him to just play under control like he has and give us solid minutes of the bench we would so much better. When he plays well he can be really good and give us a huge spark off the bench. we saw flashes of it last year.

He was great until he started the fricking josh gray shooting clinic.

Play your damn role josh. Stop trying to score 30 points and pass the damn ball.

He has a lot of potential if he stops playing so dumb.

He's just really bad when he gets in street ball mode.

I took a stand last year...he's my boy. If he continues to know his role it will be so beneficial to our team to have him as our backup PG

Yea hes good but he will start like 5-6 and then go 1-5 with some poor shot/drive selections.

Granted, ill take 6-11 all day, but 6-8 would be better

Gray had his moments last year where he showed that he can play and be an asset for the team. He was consistently bashed last year and was under a microscope. Every mistake he made was magnified. We would be turning the ball over all game long and making stupid mistakes, but nobody bashed those players. As soon as Gray would make 1 mistake, people would chime in with the "how the frick is this guy a college player?" And "Gray is so fricking bad" and all that. After games, someone would be like "Gray had 8 turnovers, why does he play?" Without looking at the stats and seeing that Gray only had 2 TOs.

Not saying he didn't have those "wtf" moments, because he did. But he wasn't as bad as people made him out to be. And Mickey and Martin both turned the ball over more than Gray did, and TQ was right there with him in TOs as well.

I actually really like the role he's gonna have this year. Off the bench player than can be a spark plug and create for other players. Our transition offense with Gray, Simmons, Blakeney, Sampson, TQ, Hornsby, etc. could be a nightmare to defend.

He looked really good tonight. He is so damn quick with the ball. He may make questionable decisions sometimes, but he is the best ball handler without a doubt.

Elbert looks like a different player this year too.

Just noticed the thread on him

Gray played out of his mind tonight. If we can get that off the bench this year damn this team is gunna be good.

16 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers in just 22 minutes

He looked better tonite than most games last yr...I still wish he would learn to finish...he misses so many lay ups after making great moves to get to the basket...

His problem last year wasn't the amount of turnovers, but more when he had them. In close games, he tried taking over instead of dishing to our stars, and screwed the pooch in numerous big games

I l admit he played well tonight. However, I would like to see him string a few of these type games together to believe he shook his demons from last year. Time will tell...

The good thing about this year is when he has his bad games you can take him out because of the guard depth

last year you couldn't do that.

Gray's biggest asset tonight was shutting down the little PG #4 for Kennesaw St. He was giving Quarterman and Patterson fits early on. Gray came in and that all but stopped. His on the ball defense was strong!
