Not one team this year has played a perfect 4 quarters. LSU had a game canceled last week and in the back of every players mine they knew they could beat Southern Miss so yes they did come out flat but if you wasn't excited about the adjustments and the fire coachO lit under the players arse at halftime.I don't know if you was watching the same game! and you probably need to quit being an LSU fan because you're way too hard to please shite the great Nick Saban loss to UAB

Calling your opinion worthless isn't attacking you. Sorry you don't know sh*t about football.

Auburn is not going to run the table. Their offense is anemic at best but LSU still has a chance with the better offense. No chance AU beats Bama and I doubt they will beat Ole Miss

Shut up. Just admit you were wrong and move on.

And yes, I reiterate LSU has to play a great game, the whole game to run the table. That is not Captain Obvious bull shite

Yes, it's completely obvious, dumbass. And STTDB

If you walked away thinking that Florida's offense is impressive after that game then you are just as dumb as this other Bozo. They didn't score a touchdown until 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Against Missouri. Florida's defense may be good, but I have full confidence our defense can hold them to 7 points in 4 quarters. And our offense is better than theirs and that's a harsh indictment.

To say that you're less likely to think we can beat them after that sh*t show they pulled against Missouri then you should just quit watching football.

The only thing I can say after watching football the last two weeks is that Missouri is a really bad team, and Florida has a really good defense.

I don't know how LSU matches up vs the Gators. The Tigers have 3 huge games before that one, which may or may not be relevant for one or both of the teams.

Don't understand how people are overlooking the fact that this team hadn't played football in 2 weeks with the fake bye week.

Players had not played in a real game and had to get back up to game speed after the emotional roller coaster and headache.

We have to do much better to beat SEC teams like Ole Miss, Arky, aTM, and especially Bama.

This. Missouri and Southern Miss just aren't that good. Wisconsin is, anyone who thought any team could just walk into Lambeau Field and mop the floor with them was delusional. Auburn is pretty solid as well.

Hard to get excited when, based on everything we've seen thus far this year (i.e. our games and the Gumps' games), our chances of beating 'Bama are about 20 percent at best. And only one game to get better as a team
I actually am more excited than I have been about LSU football in a while, however that's not saying much. I do agree that our chances of beating Bama are very low, but I think we have at least an even chance of beating most of the others, save for aTm on the road- that will be a big ask. I was more concerned about Arky early than I am now.

In today's Dandy Don:

quote:

LSU averaged 10.9 yards per play against Southern Miss, which is highest since at least 1960.

Against Southern Miss, LSU had more points (45) than plays (42) for only the third time since LSU began keeping records of such things in 1949.

Josh Growden booting the longest punt (68 yards) since 2012 when Brad Wing had a 69-yarder against Arkansas.

Shoutout to LSU’s Todd Politz and The Advocate for the statistics.

We keep breaking decades old records. We are headed in the right direction!

I'm cautiously optimistic. We've played a fairly weak schedule so far. Floridas defense should be a good test.

I love that we have a team that runs on emotion
Now let's channel it and win it all
We have the talent

I am happy we can play lousy football the first half and make adjustments, and come out kicking arse in the second half. And no more sitting on a small lead and grinding it out. Now we have a coach that's not afraid to hang a big number on somebody.

Yes I am excited. Not because I believe LSU will run the table, because I don't know. But now there is more of a chance, there is now again the air of what might happen

Just read thru a few of your posts and find it amusing how tough people get behind a key board. This is a message board where others come to share their thoughts. This used to be a fun board but there are too many turds like yourself floating around now.

Let others express their opinions and shut your dick holster now and then.

2 biggest take aways for excite:
1.) TEs involvement - especially D. Smith!
2.) Etling's touch on the long passes were spot on!!! The int was a bit under thrown, but still a so so catchable ball.
