Since last season, West is 20-2 in head to head against the East. That's brutal.

East has only won 5 SEC titles since 2000.
0 since 2009
East has won 11 out of 24 total. And won 6 of the first 7.

Florida has won 7, played in the first 5 winning 4.
Tenn won 2- None since 1998
UGA 2- None since 2005

Just look at Tennessee's remain schedule:

USCe
Tennessee Tech
Kentucky
Missouri
Vanderbilt

Not exactly murderers row.

11 out of 24 total considering they won 6 of the first 7.

It's funny to see the discrepancies between the have's and have not's in the SEC

There's been 24 SECCG. Only 6 of 12 (now 14) have won the game.

UGA
UF
Tenn.
Bama
LSU
Auburn

I wouldn't even consider UGA in that conversation. It was all Florida and Tennessee in the 90s. Sure, they had a few good years in the 90s, but they didn't even make their first SEC Championship game appearance until 2002.

2002 was really the final year of East dominance before power started shifting to the West. Bama was easily the best team in the West in 2002, and UGA beat them in Tuscaloosa. Although, 2002 was a terrible year for the SEC in general. Pathetic non-conference records all around.

Yeah, the West won the SECCG in 2001, but UT and UF were both damn good teams that season. USC and UGA were decent too. In a fair world, UT should've been in a BCS bowl that year along with UF and LSU.
