Youre missing the point that he came to LSU as a WR expecting a lot of looks. That aint how we roll, breh.

I seriously doubt we just stop throwing it because of the EMU game. We will throw it 15-20 times a game, as we have been. Keep in mind PI calls.

I don't know how accurate this is, but a previous poster said that LSU attempted all their passes in the first half against EMU. And I'm sure that not all of Harris's first half passes were catchable balls, but if the wideouts can't catch the ball, that's on them, not Miles.

Yes, and we'll pay for it in the future.

I never said his expectations were realistic. But if Les thinks we're going to make the playoffs with only a running game and Bradley Dale, then his expectations are unrealistic too.

This is not good news... Dupre has a point. I'm sure his thoughts didn't just pop up this week. The frustration from the game results probably pushed him to the point of voicing his opinion publicly.

This is bigger than the EMU game. These guys came to LSU to contribute in the passing game. Most of them could of went to any school in the country instead of coming to LSU to get 2 or 3 targets a game.

How can you in the same breath say you give the WRs an F- and also want more looks? That makes no sense.

And can you really think of any great catches our WRs have made this year? I really can't think of one that stands out. If you want the ball, do something special. I know they all have great potential, but they haven't played up to their capabilities.

Maybe so, but he's a top WR recruit with a top QB recruit (both with 1st round potential), and his legitimate targets this year have been a pittance. Yeah, Fournette is great. That doesn't excuse the ineptitude of the coaches handling the passing game, bottom line. Miles was quick to throw them under the bus and people on here ate that shite up. The real crime is that we have 3 potential first rounders in our passing game and we have a passing offense on par with the service academies. If we played Bama this week, we would be probably around 10-pt underdogs and that is fricking sad.

When? Our passing game has been the same since 2008 sans 2013.

Your logic makes me think of shitty sales people who don't take advantage of the opportunities available. Instead they complain that there aren't enough opportunities, instead of earning more. This is something that can be carried over in all sorts of scenarios in life.

My point is just because you suck at something doesn't mean you should abandon it and stick with what you know. Sometimes to get over the hump you have to improve those things you're not good at. And my point is it's easier to do that at home against Eastern Michigan in the second half instead of on the road in the second half at Tuscaloosa.

I hope Dupre and Dural both find their asses on the bench for the South Carolina game. They can take a seat and watch Leonard get 75% of the touches with some wood in their arse and evaluate if they would like to be a part of LSU.

I think the rant needs to go easy on him. These are 18 and 19yr old kids we are talking about here. Most of us, heck all of us, have said dumber shite than this.

And I agree that the quote is poorly timed and I'm sure it doesn't help his situation with the coaches at all.

First off bamasessed

Secondly, after the effort and lack of interest in the 1st half, I'd be willing to bet none of the receivers stood up at halftime and said something about stepping up as a unit. I guarantee you none of them are looked at as leaders, if they were they would have showed interest in the first half.

I agree. Tough to get it going though when Harris throws a ball that should be caught, isn't caught.

Well it goes hand in hand with what he's saying. No one is excusing the drops entirely. But how on earth can you expect them to get in a rhythm with the joke of a passing offense we run? Sure, we threw on first down against EMU this weekend a good bit so it seems like we did that on a surface level. But instead of doing it in a methodical, disciplined way, we had a stupid gameplan and EMU made our arse quit by halftime.
