I think coming off of a 4-for-14 passing game is the precise wrong time to demand the ball be thrown more. There's a reason we didn't throw the ball in nearly the last 20 minutes of the game.

What does that have to do with a college receiver wanting to feel like he contributes to the offense? I doubt a college team would be very successful using that as a recruiting tool. "Hey, come play for us, we'll keep you on the sidelines for 4 years, throw you about 8-10 passes, but the NFL will see how much talent you have and draft you anyway."

I've read several of your comments on this, as well as many more in the past. I don't know how old you are, but I'm hoping you are young. It's kind of funny reading some of your comments, because while the quotes or the issue itself is not a huge deal, taken alone, it's the bigger picture of what these types of quotes imply, and could lead to. It's so far over your head, that's the comical part.

You can tell the difference in the posters on here. The young kids are on here preaching "he is just saying the truth...what's he suppose to do, lie?" lol......the thought process, wisdom, etc., in those types of statements is obviously lacking. Some of the older, more educated and successful posters totally get it. It's not about pro or negatives miles bashers....at all. For you kids on here.....you don't tell the company you work for that your company sucks.....you may think it...but you don't come out and tell the executives that's the way you feel about it...and keep your job for very long, of course. You don't tell a parent they have an ugly kid...it may be true...but you don't do it. You don't tell a wife that she looks fat in a certain dress...may be true...but some things are better left unsaid. Maybe one day you guys will understand....oh and Ell.....you really are a dumbass that thinks you know it all.

All of that just about me and not a single relevant point made concerning the topic.

Just not a very smart thing to say when your group is struggling and the team is 4-0.

OR, you could do like TQ and ask to contribute to the team in any way you can, while they are going through this phase of developing the pass. But you are right, sulk up like a punk, entitled kid. That'll serve you well in life. Reminds me so much of Jordan J.

BTW...what an overreacting, pussy post.

I'm not surprised in the least that you don't actually get the potential harm of quotes like this...especially for a team that is undefeated and in a championship hunt. He certainly represents a "me" attitude and not one of a "team" attitude, with those statements...and it's obviously something that is impacting the wr's internally, given their efforts on Saturday. Again, you can't understand this type of fallout.....because afterall, what he said was true right? What's he suppose to do, Lie? lol

Dude, you need to step away for a little bit. Go out for a smoke break, to take a jog, go hit some golf balls. Find something that helps you relax.

Weren't there tons of rumors out there about TQ transferring after last season. Hmmmm...

Maybe if you would have told the coaches you planned on dropping 50% of the balls thrown to you, they might have gone a different direction as well. Coaches have tried to throw more and the receivers have shite the bed. I'd roll out with Quinn, Chark, and Johnson. We can either run the ball with LF, and get 8.7 a carry, or throw to the WR's who keep dropping balls that hit them in the numbers. Tough choice.

no no man.....this ain't about team here...this is about this kid's life...it's all about him. ha

Funny how actually going out and getting open and dominating less talented DB's, AND CATCHING THE BALL, will likely lead to everything you are wanting. But hell...would have to actually work for that...instead of entitlement.

While I think you are going to see some fire in D & D going forward, I couldn't agree with you any more on this in terms of giving these guys a try. I guarantee you get more effort from them, and I'll take effort over entitled talent any day of the week.

Remember that time against Wisconsin that Fournette totaled 18 yards rushing? Remember that time against Arkansas that Fournette totaled 9 rushing yards?

Did the coaching staff give up on him and abandon the run?

I can't tell if he is saying he himself sucks or if he's bitching about how good LF7 is.

Yea, terrible, you have to LIVE with the first consensus heisman frontrunner at LSU since Billy Cannon.

what a whiny bitch.

already ran my 5 this morning...and I don't smoke...might play nine this afternoon as well. I'm totally relaxed. I'll admit I have a real problem with complete ignorance...always have...just a pet peave of mine.....and you kids on here with this "he's just telling the truth" bs....I mean it doesn't get any more ignorant that that. That's like the worst...because it absolutely tells us you have no clue about the bigger picture.

He was the second leading rec on the team as a true freshman.....but even if that rumor was true, what is Quinn doing now while riding the pine? He's not sulking up and bitching about not getting to play...he's out there giving it all and asking to do other things for the team until he gets his next shot...and he will get that...sooner than later...and I totally expect he will make the most of it. He wasn't really scared to go over the middle last year....that's what this team sorely needs right now.

Dupre was recruited just as Fournette was and was probably pitched about how they envisioned his contribution to the offense. LSU's offense is not utilizing his talents in the manner they pitched I'm sure. Drops, overthrows, under throws, poor routes etc are all a part of the game.

If you think he was wrong to communicate his frustration then it's fine to feel that way. If you think he was correct to voice his frustration you are also correct. I teach my kids to challenge opinions not in line with their own. My personal belief is he should have challenged the coaches but in private.

LSU hate aside, if you only get 3-4 balls thrown your way and you're not making plays....maybe complaining isn't the smartest move.

He (and all the receiver's) need to invest in the team and make the plays when called upon. THEN maybe he'd have a legit gripe to complain.
