You're blaming coaches for imperfections.

I got news for you. Nothing will ever be perfect. Sorry for the bad news

So you just expected Matt C. to come in and have everything figured out? Sure we missed a couple opportunities, but with a score of 27-0 and with LSU having 479-97 yards total, I would say that was a great night. When we finally play a team with a great run defense, we will pass even more. However, in the passing game last night it was a good blend of passing 5-10 yards, 10-20 yards and beyond.

All these responses are proof of what i stated in the OP.

Everyone here wants to give a huge break to the new OC, DESPITE the ineptitude in the red zone last night.

What do you want us to do/say?

It was a 27 point win.

I'm unsure what you're trying to accomplish. You're in the minority here

People give him a blank check for having the 11th rank offense last year. Doesn't matter that he was her average before that.

Plus I think people are just excited for change. Good or bad.

That wasn't the ridiculous part of your statement.

LSU gains nearly 500 yds of total offense in the first game against a stout defense trying to implement a new style of offense while only using 10% of the playbook and you are still bitching?. Something tells me that LSU could have looked like the 2009 saints on offense and you would have still bitched and moaned about the offense for some reason. And other than the penalties the execution was spot on you tard. Some of you will never be happy with anything LSU brings out.

LOL, i simply pointed out how how putrid the red zone offense was and how willing we are to give the new coach a break.

Your reading comprehension is a little poor.

Wait, our execution was spot on? Watch the replay and pay attention to the red zone execution and come back and try again.

I thought Cam Cameron was a pathetic college OC, and I thought college football passed up Lester many years ago, but ...

Last night, our red zone offense was putrid; the play calling was poor and the execution worse.

We would have been all over the former coaches about this. Why are we giving the new coaches such a big break?

They hate Les Miles. Les only won because he had Saban's players. If Coach O bumbles into a good season, you'll never hear "it was Miles' players."

Our offense was weak against a weak team.

They want Coach O to do well, otherwise, they'll have to admit it wasn't all about Miles.

No people realize that the offense was just put in and the OC himself said that they take advantage of what the defense gives. He also said that every week new things are put in.

I know for a fact, yes a fact, that there is much more in this offense AND that LSU could have done much more in the RZ. Why didn't we? I have no clue but that doesn't mean that he can't get it done, it simply means that they chose not to do it.

The bottom line is that this game was dominated by LSU in every phase of the game period. That's Great News to anyone with a brain.

No blank checks here. If it continues and becomes a problem then you will rightfully hear complaints.

It is like this every year. We beat a couple of scrub teams and "we're going to the final four." Then, we play some real teams and lose some games. Then, the roar of "fire the Coach" will start. But, O may get a break because they'll blame it on Miles.

Our offense is great against average teams.

No, your bitching because LSU didn't put up 60 points and wasn't absolutely perfect in their first game. Your doing what all of these other idiotic LSU fans are doing and was expecting fireworks in gm 1 with a new implemented offense. Now your pissed thinking our offense sucks still because we didn't avg. 25 yds per play.

We gave them little to 0 film on Canada's offense. Opposing teams don't even have a full spring game to watch and the media wasn't allowed in our practices. I'm ok with us being vanilla that game, it was clear we were going to win easily. Why show our hand to teams like auburn and Florida?

Bingo. It really does blow my mind that more people dont realize this.
