Ensminger embarrassed Les Miles, and his billion dollar qb whisperer.

We would have been all over the former coaches about this. Why are we giving the new coaches such a big break?

Maybe it is his first game coaching his new team and still trying to play to his players strength.

Agreed red zone O needs to improve. You gotta understand this we didn't want to show any of our passing sets on the goaline. Also BYU has some big Somoans, and Tongans' on the D-line they did a good job stuffing us.

Why show our hand to teams like auburn and Florida?

Agreed we need to save our best stuff for Auburn, Florida, and I guarantee we'll throw in everything and the kitchen sink against Bama.

Do you think the score would have been 27-0 under the former coach

I think it would've been similar

More than I thought.

If the last staff had run the ball that much and missed as many TD chances in the red zone against a bad team, the rant would be in full melt.

while this is certainly true, the new staff wasnt calling the same runs in the same gap over and over.
I liked what I saw last night except for some red zone execution and needless penalties.

I'm not suggesting you didn't like it.

1. He let the Defense determine the plays.

2. He was visibly upset when we didnt put it in. On 4th, the said "put the F'er in there!" and when we didnt get it, he was furious. He wasn't ok with the mediocrity.

Its our 1st game with a new O and we did very well. Etling had like 3 incompletions. We ran very well considering how large and strong their D front was.

I will admit, I was in a immature rampage during the first half in the in-game thread. In the second half I started to realize what was going on and was perfectly content with 42 minutes TOP. This wasn't a case where they were holding us back offensively. We absolutely dominated them offensively, just not in the flashy way. I do admit the red zone ineffectiveness was a little frustrating still, but I can accept that giving the TOP.

This... On Repeat... For the entire week.

BYU didn't want to get beat over the top so sat two safeties way deep, and had 6 man fronts most of the time... So what did Canada do? Said "Oh thanks, I'll take 6 or 7 yards a pop" and we did that over and over and over again.

If a team starts putting 8 or 9 guys in the box against us, no doubt we'll see different calls than running it up the gut

I do think that we should have stopped trying to power it in at the goal line on the 4th down attempt drive.

I can agree with that...

But that play call was one time, we pretty much saw that all the time under Les/Cam.

I'm excited to see how this offense develops this season

Not anymore...how quickly the leniency evaporated has to be a world record of some sort.

The last loss is evident that the new OC is not up to par
and grossly overpaid.
