Intercession classes will not be affected

The LSU campus will be partially open on Tuesday, Aug. 16, for some limited activities, including Intersession. The LSU Child Care Center and the LSU Lab School will be closed on Tuesday. Intersession, which consists of for-credit classes, will be held in all its usual classrooms. Intersession is already underway, and for students to receive credit for those classes, the session needs to be completed before fall semester begins. Professors will work individually with students who cannot get to campus or have other flood-related issues that prevent them from attending class on Tuesday. Those students should contact their professors directly.

Maybe "intercession" is more accurate, since it seems like divine intercession that TV is here and looks to get to play in the defense this year.
