I think only Tennessee has either started or played more freshmen in the SEC.

you're not always going to have 1st round, potential top-10 draft pick left tackles while returning 4/5 starters on the line.

Wait, whut? I thought les miles couldn't develop or coach offensive line? it's the weakes link on the team. wasn't that the chant before?

How does that not count?

LSU scored 13 points and averaged 3.3 yards per carry. Your offense lost you the game. Your defense almost won you the game.

true freshman against the #3 team in the country on the road, never to be seen again.

Miles started Harris solely to appease the fans after the Jennings Shitstorm against NMSU. He wouldn't even let him start against Sam Houston St, but he throws him into the fire against Auburn and then he's basically done for the season?

Come on, man. Jennings has repeatedly been awful and Harris can't get a series? That was an out for Miles. If he was great, then ok. If he was terrible, he ended any "controversy."

Which he did. you don't really hear anyone calling for Harris anymore.

Jennings has the best line he'll likely ever have at LSU RIGHT NOW and he's terrible. Harris is getting no legitimate shot to play (@ Auburn doesn't count).

You're right - Harris has looked AWESOME against:
- Sam Houston State
- Louisiana Monroe
- New Mexico State

16/21 for 254 yards and 4 TD's 0 INTs WOOOO MOfrickIN HOOOO!!!!! OMG GIVE HIM THE START!!!!

Oh wait, against the same competition you have Jennings that did 30/36 for 338 yards and 3 TDs. So Jennings did do better in those games that Harris also looked awesome in.

On the dark side, against Auburn and Mississippi State, where we also have a decent sample size for both QBs the story is:

Harris: 9 completions for 23 passes (39% completion rate) 198 yards 2 TDs and 1 INT.

Jennings: 18 completions for 36 passes for 241 yards no TD's no picks.

Also where do you get off stating that a kid that has close to 50 total passing attempts hasn't gotten enough playing time?

The same way AJs horrible performances like Miss St or the 3 first half INT beauty don't count.

AJ is the # 96th ranked qb in all of fbs!! Ninety fricking six! At LSU with several 5 stars!

With the level this program is at, we should be above moral victories

E. The last one. We almost beat the best team in the country while completing 8 passes.

They are not the best team in the country. They are not ranked #1, lost to Ole Miss and were a shanked extra point away from going to OT with Arkansas. They are a very good team though.

C. The game Saturday was heartbreaking, but we were so close to ruining their season. And that in and of itself is semi-satisfying.
To you maybe but not to many.

I agree with this though...
The effort these young men play with should be the envy of every football program in the nation. They leave it on the field every night, and we should do better to support them.

Ole Miss.... Yes.

Alabama... No. 3.3ypc isn't imposing our will on a team. It was pretty even in the trenches. They didn't stuff our run, but we didn't impose our will on them running the ball either. And if you take away the yards Jennings had when he ran on a pass play, our ypc would be even less.

But I agree with most of the rest.
