I couldn't believe how fast he told the doctors to amputate the leg. Most people would try hard to keep it. He was really motivated to play sports. It is a great story. I hope he enjoys LSU and we hear more about him.

Will keep making posts to keep this at the top of the board. It is worth taking the time viewing this film. This what LSU is all about, any University as for as that goes. The next time I see the cheerleaders I will take special pride in that this young man did not let anything come between him and his dream.

On a serious note though, will he be allowed to compete? I know, at least a few years ago, prosthetics weren't allowed in track because they gave the runner a "mechanical advantage" or whateverthehell.

I wouldn't think prosthetics would give you much of an advantage if you only had one prosthetic limb because it would have to balance with the other limb.
