After the Miles is staying debacle, I'm partial to the I Don't Give A shite Bowl.

Playing Michigan is easily #1
Playing PSU,WVU, and TTU would be fun too.
I highly doubt we will play Wisconsin since we start the year with them next year and playing Duke/Northwestern has no appeal whatsoever.

The playoffs would be nice.

The NCAA and the networks have opened a Pandora's Box with the playoffs--a good Pandora's Box, in my opinion.

I predict that within three years, the playoffs will expand to 8 teams, maybe 10, with four participating in a "play-in" round.

Bottom line: these shite bowls are becoming more and more meaningless, but of course for the Miles cultists, these bowls--along with barely scratching the Top 25--are evidence that being a "nice guy" is more important than steering a program with the potential to be perennially in the Top Ten.

A ten team playoff would be an accurate gauge of success--"How often do you make the playoffs?" replacing "how many annual shite bowls do you go to?"

I will go to the game if it's in Houston for sure and probably go if it's in Nashville. So either of those 2 preferably

Looks like the most likely possibilities are:

Tuesday, Dec 29th - 8pm - Texas Bowl

Wednesday, Dec 30th - 2:30pm - Belk Bowl

Friday, Jan 1st - 1pm - Citrus Bowl

Saturday, Jan 2nd - 11am - TaxSlayer Bowl

With times in Bold...(Don't care about opponents except for Michigan)

I go with Citrus or Texas

that would just be a very tough game for us.
Don't want any Big 10 teams for that matter

Much rather play a team we have a better shot of beating like one of the ACC or Big 12 teams in one of those other bowls

the Texas or Belk Bowl would be just fine, Get a win and finish out the season strong.

Never been to Jacksonville, so I'd say Taxslayer.

Relative to opponent - anyone but Penn State. I listened to Seven Nation Army for two hours straight a couple of years ago. What is it with teams from the northeast and that crap?

Citrus Bowl is not likely. I communicated with a Citrus Bowl rep last night and this is what he said.

On LSU and the Citrus Bowl, the percentage I would place is 25. The way it works is that after the playoff is set the Sugar Bowl gets the highest ranked SEC team (Ole Miss) We get the first pick of an SEC team from #13 on down (Florida is the highest ranked that fits this criteria). There hasn't been much buzz at the meetings for LSU and I find it hard to believe that we would turn down Florida here in Orlando. However if they get embarrassed enough on Saturday then maybe LSU is back in

For me, it's about exposure so the date and time of the game is more important than the opponent for me.

Texas Bowl - Tuesday Primetime 8pm - would be my first choice.

Since Citrus is a long shot, then Taxslayer Saturday at 11am would be my 2nd just because of TV audience. (I hate an 11am KO though)

Belk on a Wednesday at 2:30 would be an awful TV time slot.
