Its all about whoever can make things happen, not the style of play.
Why cant a LA. high school coach develop a QB is the better question?

Harris looked great in High School, in LA.

He wasn't playing in this shitastic offense though.

Dual threat at LSU means hand to the running back and pitch to the running back.....

So even when I make all those restrictions that remove some very noticeable QBs from this list, there has still been a great many.

I notice one glaring omission from each of their resumes

OK DBU u got me. Harris' coach is the lone exception. Funny thing isnt it, when Louisiana actually produces a 4* or greater QB, he wears P&G.
Go figure. BTW,Harris played some this yr, didnt he? Got a start against the Champs. Would he had played a down in conference at the other top SEC programs?

Pls tell me, DBU. btw that offense led the entire nation in 3rd down % last yr. But pls go on, this could be comical.

Lets see the OC, HC, OL, TE's, FB's 2 RB's....

Funny how things change when u have poor QB play in football. Who wouldve known?

Lets try this again DBU.
Why cant the high school coaches develop a QB in this state anymore?

a immobile white guy impresses me more than dual threats.

You could have ended it there and gotten straight to your point. You prefer immobile white QBs. Gotcha. The fact is you are not alone in this fan base. Sad but true.

And then there are the rest of us who prefer a successful QB, be he dual treat, pocket passer, black, white, brown, yellow or what the F ever. Some of us believe color has nothing to do with it. I would take Jameies Winston of Florida State without the baggage in a heartbeat. Notre Dame QB? Yes! TCU QB? Yes! Auburn's QB, Oregon's QB, Bama QB? Yes! Yes! Yes! Obviously you wouldn't because they do not fit two of your preferred characteristics. They are too fast and are not white. You probably should become a fan of BYU, you will probably be much happier with the QBs on the team you root for.

Harris has a cannon on his arm and was considered a very good passer coming out. Why wouldn't you want to recruit a guy who can throw but is also mobile?

Do you really need to ask that question? He has already told you the answer. Unlike most with that insane argument, he gave that up front.

While I agree with your premise, I would only want most of the QB's you've listed if we were to revamp the offense and spread it out.

However, with our current offensive scheme, I wouldn't mind Winston (w/o the baggage of course), Mariota, or Blake Sims.

So you wouldn't want Everette Golson's 60.7% passing for 3044 yards with 27 TDs and 12 Ints?
-or-
Trevonne Boykins' 59.3% passing for 3021 yards with 24 TDs and 5 Ints?

Heck even with Nick Marshall's pedestrian passing numbers of 59.5% passing for 1688 yards with 14 TDs and 5 Ints, I'd take him and his great running ability that got Auburn to the national championship game last year. Would you not want Dak Prescott as well?

The point is the nonsense about not wanting a QB who is athletic and can run is just that, nonsense. However, as we all know it has deeper meaning for some. Just curious, what type QBs will lead their teams to the playoffs this year? Winston? Mariotta? Sims? Prescott? Boykins? J.T Barrett? All dual threats right? Who knew? What were their coaches thinking?

Exactly. It's called "the wildcat" or "high school".
