I'm starting to get Fournette Hype Fatigue after last night

Is rushing for barely 1,000 yards in 13 games a huge accomplishment? ESPN was acting like he was Herschel Walker and was going to win the next two Heismans and go #1 in the draft.
I think he will be the GOAT at LSU right now and maybe the most iconic LSU athlete since Shaq, but man the Hype Machine needs to pump the brakes a little bit.

After the game, I talked to many MSU fans. The praise LF7 gets is beyond well deserved. He made plays last night that we already take for granted, but many backs cannot do.

Did you watch the game? He's compiles the numbers you talk of in basically 7 games. He started out slow and didn't get many touches between UK and AR so he has done it in limited opportunities overall.

He had the most rushing yards ever for a lsu freshman and averaged 5.5 ypc. Started his sophomore year with 160 yards and 3 TD's.

I can't even remember the last LSU player that got hype like Fournette both before playing (preseason pundits) AND after performances, so Im going to enjoy an LSU player getting press for once, especially considering how hilariously elementary our offensive play calling is.

It's not the yards dude...it's how he fricking gets them. He's absolutely incredible. Nobody that big should be able to run like he does.
