I tried to sell tRant that LSU would make the NCAAT 2 years ago and we did - only to faceplant against NCST. I was all onboard with Ben Simmons and excusing the terrible season start. I even thought we'd turn it up SEC play. Basically, an apologist.

I was never a CJJ believer, but after TJ fail, I figure let's see.

LSU should be able to pay for and attract a quality coach. Basketball is a high revenue sport. I don't understand the disconnect with LSU AD.

We don't have an AD, we have a politician's lackey.

pretty sure JJ will walk away this year without a public firing. It'll be a mutual agreement kind of deal as it's so expected he will not be returning.

You act like LSU is in a slump basketball wise. This is par for the course. We are the vanderbilt of basketball in the SEC. It doesn't matter who we hire. It will always be this way. Do you see Vandy becoming a huge powerhouse in football anytime soon? Do you see them pulling a top 5 class anytime soon? I didn't think so.

All this does is give the rantards another thing to bitch about. LSU will never be relevant in basketball... at least not on a consistent basis.

I'm not spending a penny, or another second watching a second of this.

Wake me up when it's over...or baseball season.

We have the second most number of sec championships in basketball. How are we Vandy in football?

My comparison obviously went over your head.

We could have the most SEC championships in basketball. SEC championships mean jack shite. You can have the worst conference record and luck out and win the SEC championship.

Since the end of the Shaq era, we have won 3... 25 years. Come on maaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

Your arse hurts if you think otherwise. Maybe Vandy was a tad too low of a comparison, so Here is one better. Kentucky. In fact, id say they are the perfect comparison. UK has a good football season every 3-4 years, just like we do in basketball. Other than that, its an utter shite show.

108 years. 21 tournament appearances.
Thats 1 tournament appearance every 5 years. 4 final four appearances. 4. Not 14 or 40, but 4.

Go ahead and compare that to the majority of SEC teams and try again, jackass

You do realize that the "SEC Champ" is the winner of the SEC tournament right? You can win the regular season title and the SEC tournament title. The SEC tournament title is what matters. Having the best record doesn't earn you hardware. Teams luck out all the time and get into The Dance by winning their conference tournament.

Dipshit.

You go back and forth between SEC titles and final 4s at your convenience. Either way, your comparison and logic is still ignorant.

No, the team with the best regular season league record is the SEC Champion.

The winner of the tourney is the SEC Tournament Champion.

You are a bag of fricking rocks.

I don't need to compare it to SEC teams. I could care less about SEC teams. I am talking about LSU on a national level. We are trash in hoop and always will be trash. You fools walk around thinking we are better than what we are in hoop because of our football / baseball programs success.

We have had one final four appearance in the last 32 years. We have only made it out of the second round twice 3 times in that same 32 year span.

Its like , because of the football / baseball programs , you fools run around with your rose tinted toggle goggles on when it comes to other programs.

We simply aren't a basketball school. Period. The end. You can bitch, moan, and cry all day every day or be on the rag (which you clearly are), but at the end of the day, we are who we are as a basketball program.

There simply isn't enough recruits in Basketball to go around. Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, A&M, and even Bama in basketball get better recruits than we do, much less talking about other conferences.

Go buy you some tampons bro, plug that hole up quick.

They both hold equal weight. Without a doubt they do. If they didn't, winning your tournament wouldn't get you into the Dance if you were shite.

Winning the regular season title is the most prestigious in basketball. The fact that there are automatic entries to the tournament via winning the conference tournament is quite silly honestly.

Im not going back and forth on anything. I am talking about both equally. You need to come to grips with reality. Reality is the fact that LSU isn't and will never be the best at every single sport they participate in. Basketball is one of them.

All you do is set sail for fail and melt all day over it. If you are a 5* recruit in football or even a 4*, who are you picking? LSU or Vandy? LSU or Kentucky? LSU or Mizzou? They would be out of their minds to choose any of those 3 over LSU. The ONLY exception would be state loyalty. Now apply this to basketball. Recruits will never choose LSU over UK, FLorida, Tennessee. Sure you have your one offs like Simmons. How did that work out for us?
