Yeah I guess I'm happy to start out with a perceived mediocre team that will inevitably struggle on offense again bc without any expectations I won't be disappointed by the music city bowl.

two totally different mentalities:

1. high expectations, championship team

2. low expectations, let's see if we can maybe make the cotton bowl

I don't think its expectations. I think everyone WANTS to win the title. I think its ability. LSU doesn't have the coaching to be an elite dynasty like Alabama. We have an awful game day coach. He's an awesome recruiter. He's incredible. A top 3 guy in the nation. But on the sideline he's absolutely horrid.

Oh, I agree. I feel like at LSU we SHOULD expect to win the title. Hell, at least I do are there people happy with going 10-3 and being thoroughly embarrassed by Clemson?

Kragthorpe to QBs exclusively
Studwalrus to OL exclusively
hire an OC
fire Ensminger
Les get the frick out of the way

So having a legit offensive coordinator will all of a sudden make up for how much we lose on defense plus the severe scheduling imbalance?

Also, what exactly is makes an OC "legit?" There aren't baboons out there that do this. The best guys aren't just available for the picking. Hell I remember when Kragthorpe was announced the Rant was all like "SEC fricked!!!!" "Mettsiah and Krags will dominate!!!"

a lot to ask of a HC. if you were the head of your local branch of whatever business you're in and somebody came in and told you that you had to do all those things (especially to "get the frick out of the way) would you?

If I thought it'd make me more successful in the long haul then yeah. Its plainly obvious Les is the problem with this offense. We have been downright awful for 5 years in a row with elite talent. If he doesn't want to make those moves then maybe its time for LSU to make a move. Because there are coaches in the SEC that appear to be more prepared on game day than Les is that we could 100% get to Baton Rouge.
