I think a pregame hype video utilizing The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" could be really cool.

"Bring it on Home" by Led Zeppelin could be awesome as could "Black Dog"

i scanned through the thread and people said someone suggested led zeppelin.

what do you suggest?

your contribution is that if you were a big doner, you would call the school and tell them not to play any of that stuff? nice! what would you suggest they play?

I'm shocked that TIGER(Robert E)LEE disapproves of calling out racists.

for the past however many years, they have always had a mix of pop, rock, techno, rap, and country. nothing has really changed except that theyre using newer songs for the pop, techno, and rap selections.

some songs work, some songs dont. dont know until you try them.

the song this thread is about got the players really pumped. moreso than most songs i remember the past few years. why would you want them to stop playing it? i dont like rap, but if the players like it, by all means play the song.

I got no problem with the "I'm From Louisiana" song being played. I was getting tired of the Calling Baton Rouge thing. Players seem to get up for the current song. Then again I'm not really a huge fan of Garth Brooks.

I hate Garth brooks.

But that song with the video pretty much ties in everything from tailgating, to life in Louisana and BR, LSU football and way of life for most LSU fans.

I was paying attention sat to fan interaction all across stadium went that song got played.
Let me put this way... If you think it sucks you are one out of bout 5 other people in the stands that think that.
Congrats for being that guy.

Congrats for me that guy

I'm quite sure I'd be in the minority that don't like it. Most Tiger fans probably prefer country music to hip hop anyway. I'm for whatever gets those 11 guys on the field juiced to knock the shite out of whoever stands opposite the boys in purple and gold.

The moment i became too "old" for the music was a great rite of passage for me, almost up there with my first game as a student. If these songs make recruits think lsu is cool and integrates the fandom of our university who gives a shite.

They should just play the 30+ minute version of Mountain Jam by the Allman Brothers from their Eat a Peach album before kick. Nothing gets 17-20 year-old black males more jacked.
