Will he sit back like he did against Auburn, or will he be blitz heavy like against Florida. Definately interseted in what he considers DT to be, a passer, or a runner. He blitzed Brantley heavily because Brantley was in no shape or form a runner, but respected Cam's running abilities. It's gonna be very interesting in Cowboy Stadium, that's for sure

I like Chavis in this one. He has all summer to gameplan against Oregon unlike 1 to 2 weeks to prepare for AU and Cam.

After watching Oregon's spring game, Chavis better have a flexible gameplan. Oregon was snapping the ball under center half the time. It's really foreign to me.

Yes, I'm still celebrating our Capital One victory against Penn State.

In the first series against Auburn we applied pressure like we normally did against teams and it worked. After that we changed to a very passive defense, like we were going to do enough offensively.???? I wished I would have recorded the Cal game to go back and look at what type of scheme they used!!! Al did a pretty good job against auburn too!

I think Chavis will be very aggressive vs Oregon and one of the main reasons why I think this is because of his confidence in the LSU secondary.

What scares me is guys like you that say shite they can't back up. Just repeating something doesn't make it true. Check your facts sheep.

I don't think Chavis gives the OR qb near as much respect as they did Cam

oregons o-line is untested, he needs to go after them early and see what they can do.

This doesn't seem like a team where we want to blitz a lot on. I think it's the D-Line that' going to have to be the ones to be in the back field.

I am far from a Les fan, but that game was a joke. The field made the game a coin toss and nullified the effectiveness of both teams. yes they made the plays and thus won the game.

As much as I dislike Les, he record when he has time to prepare is absolutely top notch.

He's 11-1 in bowl games/season openers.

How dare he lose the one ...

It's a game we should have won. We were obviously more talented than Penn St. I think the shitty field made that much of a difference.

It won't matter where Oregon is snapping the ball with LSUs DLine blowing up the ducks oline every play.

I think the key to stopping Oregon/any spread team is the same as stopping any other type of offense. Blow up the middle of the line and create disruption in the backfield. If you do this and can play tight on the outside to stop the quick hitch and speed option you can really limit what that system can do.

Yes, because they will get blown up on every play.

Arent you guys replacing your center with someone who has never played? I wouldn't be to cocky there pal.

If we blow you guys up early, it will start demanding double teams. That opens up alot for our defense blitz wise
