good i hope they do something about it.
they've performed so below expectations thus far. for me, it's my really only frustration on the whole team. they should be blowing guys off the ball and opening holes. didn't happen till 4th of wisc.
and pass pro has been average. jennings has showed good mobility and awareness of rush in pocket. if mett was here we'd be looking at 2 more sacks allowed per game. not a knock on mett.

I think it all changes tomorrow night. I think it is all about motivation...I hope at least

We will win by double digits, you can take that to the bank. Vegas has us sitting at -10. Not a chance State wins this game.

It's the same thing every year. There's always one or two teams that it's "their year". All the sports writers are picking MSU to pull off the upset. When they're wrong, they say nothing and comment on how next year might be the year. When they finally get one right, they claim they always saw it coming.
Of all the ESPN writers I actually like Edward Aschoff and Chris Low. They consistently pick the winners at a much higher percentage than anyone else.

It does not matter if we win. Well, it does to me, but for them, they will just come up with excuses and not give us "props" as deserved....

Moo state lack of depth will show up late in the game and LSU wins another close one. More concerned about the other Miss team than this one.

what do they know that we don't know?
the answer is nothing; in fact we probably know more. I am just as much of an "expert" as these guys; in fact more of an expert on LSU.
unless we give this game away (like we did against ole miss last year with those stupid interceptions in the first half) LSU is gonna win.

LSU definitely covers the 9.5 point spread and moves to 4-0 ATS this season.

my hope is that as long as they stay consistent and call state a good team before the game, if LSU wins they'll hopefully call it a quality win for LSU. but somehow if we win, i think all the talk about state is going to go away and it won't meant anything that we beat them.
They said before the Wisconsin game that if LSU won, it would be a huge, quality win.
LSU won and the game didn't matter. That is how it often goes. The only exception was against Oregon in 2011 because the media loves Oregon and their high powered offense.

If enough of them pick the grinders, there's no way LSU can win, right?
Yea sure.

The story from the media after the game will be Moo state's "missed opportunities." Not how LSU beat them, but how Moo State lost it.

There is not a single team out there that is perfect, at all times, in all three phases of a game. That is why these games are played. At the same time, it will be very difficult for Moo State to come in and beat us in The Valley. Will the game be a great game? Yes. I really hope that Moo State brings their A-Game, so we can show these "experts" our A+...

We've always handled State it seems even in our "lean" years. Some teams just always seem to have another teams number for whatever reason. And they've pulled off some pretty impressive upsets over the years. But I can't even remember being worried when we played them in recent memory. From a historical perspective I'd be more worried about Ole Pee Pee, Arky or even Kentucky. In those two OT games in 2000 I think both Tenn & State were both pretty highly ranked when we won. People rushed the field after Tenn but I don't remember much of that going on after Miss St. IMaybe the pundits are thinking their time has finally come. A wise betting man would never fall for that though.

Oh...the year of the "quality loss."
But to the point of the topic, as someone else said they'll keep saying it until they guess correctly one day.

I fell a little more confident that LSU will win that I did earlier in the week. I just don't think Mississippi State can sustain four quarters in Death Valley. Prescott will make plays early in the game, but Chavis will adjust and equalize him at some point.
In short, Mississippi State will come out and compete, but they'll fall short.

How sick will it be if our D holds them to no more than 10 points? I would say to hold them to 0, but it is the SEC West. They will at least score a field goal. But, imagine that?! just 10 points.....
