According to the Advocate, LSU season ticket holders requested 15,000 tickets to the Cotton Bowl. Each participating school is alloted 12,500 tickets.

The Aggies have been buying tickets left and right over the past 2 days while LSU fans are waiting in limbo. Jerry World is gonna be like an indoor version of Kyle Field.

People shouldn't freak out about tickets. Tickets will be out there to be had. They may not be avialable officially from the Cotton Bowl, but tickets will be out there.

All non-BCS bowl games tickets are out there for a reasonable price because the sponsors get so many tickets that are being sold in the marketplace.

I hope to God that more than 15,000 LSU fans can get their hands on tickets.

Houston and Dallas have large LSU alumni concentrations. Hopefully, some of them bought tickets early.

at least 20k LSU fans will find their way into the stadium IMO.

probably end up 70-30 split IMO with Aggie fans vastly outnumbering us, but the Purple and Gold peeps drunker and louder than ever.

Should be fun beating the Aggies in their home state in a de-facto home game! There will be lots of sad aggies filing out of Cowboys Stadium when all is said and done.

Its still sad to think it could be 70-30 though..IMO the cotton bowl screwed lsu over if we do end up going there

maybe so, but if it was A&M-LSU in the Sugar Bowl I would expect it to be 70-30 LSU.

No difference here IMO. It didn't matter when they announced A&M to the Cotton, the Ags were undoubtedly going to end up with more tickets than Tiger fans.

1. They are excited as hell to be good again (remember the feeling when we made the Sugar in 2001?)

2. It's in their home state

3. They got announced to Cotton before us

Not to worry, LSU will have a nice contingent there. Anyone worried about having to spend $50-$100 more per ticket on StubHub/Ebay vs buying tix at face value from the Cotton Bowl probably wasn't realistically planning on going in the first place. $50-$100 aint much money in the grand scheme of a 3+ day trip to any city IMO.

People that want to go won't be deterred by the few extra bucks they'll have to spend buying tix on the open market.

I live in Dallas and have renewed my cotton bowl tickets every year since LSU played Texas waiting for when LSU will go back. I just sell them on eBay (usually make a profit) if they don't go. So there will be at least 15,000 + 2 LSU fans there.

See ya in January! Hey, are you part of the Dallas LSU alumni association? I'm wondering if they are going to put anything together...official LSU bars, etc?

People say this all the time...Do you think A&M has every seat out of the remaining 65,000? No.

I've talked to five different people not associated with school tickets who said they already have seats.

It's going to be around 30,000 LSU 50,000 A&M. We will be outnumbered, but it will not be like a visiting game.

80k is conservative, it might hold up to 100k. There is a huge area for walk-ups
