In the past 10 years that was on the team when they were deciding between staying or declaring let's say...

I'd vote Kevin Minter based on how close the rest of the team was..A lot of votes will probably go pp7 or lf7 too but that '13 team had Odell, Juice, Hill and they struggled on d at times BC of poor communication. He would've been the perfect guy at the perfect time (could've saved the GA game) if he had stayed. He (Minter) left for the right reasons based on everything he's said but his contribution on the '11 D is very underrated.

How about the warrior Glenn Dorsey? If he did not come out early, then LF7.

Yeah but the next year LSU went 8-5 and were blown out a few times, they wouldn't have been much better if he came back

Michael Brockers was the rock of the 2011 front. His 2 year early departure killed us.

I'd take Jamal Adams back. Our backfield is going to be inexperienced next year.

Next choice would be Trai Turner.

Yep. Brockers was the second most important player on that 2011 defense.

2013 defense was terrible early on. If we could've had Kevin Minter I think lsu could've made a run with that offense

I think with Jamarcus we still would have had the same number of losses. The 07 team had plenty of offense. Injuries on defense are what caught up with us eventually.

NOLA just to seem him absolutely obliterate some of the all time records. Four year career would have made him a nationally recognized goat just from his numbers for a generation.

Not mad at him though because he definitely made the right decision.

Recently, and in football, I think you have to go with Tyrann Mathieu. He was such a game changer, and in more ways than one. Not only was he a beast on defense, his kick returns were very good as well. He had a few kick returns where he exhibited his off the charts awareness, and they were truly something special.

He was the type of college player that was a once in a lifetime talent. I wish he would have been able to stay on the team and in school. He was truly something special when he suited up in the P&G.

He's been a damn good Arizona Cardinal, but those LSU days were just special.
