I say we bring him back, it seems like it couldn't happen, but it's 2024 and all bets seem to be pretty much off. We have seen Trump become President, Kanye West become a Nazi, Bobby Petrino is back at Arkansas, men are women and women are men, Mulkey came here after years of talk. Let's bring back our dear leader and ride!

No he wasn’t. For all of his supposed greatness at recruiting, he never assembled a team with elite 8 talent and there wasn’t anything to suggest that his next couple of teams at LSU would have made it there.

Especially with the dark cloud that would have been over the program for years if Scott would have kept him

If he wasn't stupid enough to be wire-tapped by the FBI on an LSU phone line and use a personal checking account to buy players would he still be at LSU?

Don't think so

How did you come to this conclusion? Is it all the tournament wins he has while coaching from the bench?

Did he have enough in his personal checking account to get us there?

Pretty damn cool of him to use his own funds to help the program. That’s not just lip service.

Apparently that’s what it takes at LSU. Hopefully McMahon breaks out his checkbook soon.
