They don't typically penalize a team who made it to conf championship game. They only give credit if a team wins it. It isn't carried with the same value as a regular season loss, since earned right to be there.

Yeah but the difference is LSU would have 3 losses. The rest would be sitting at 2.

We will not be ranked behind Bama. They’re not going to punish LSU for a 3rd loss when Bama doesn’t have one because they didn’t have to play an extra game.

Not Punishing teams who lose in their conference championship and rewarding those who get to sit at home has been a point of emphasis since the origination of the CFP committee.

If we lose to Georgia, I’m not worried about it. We have done so much better than expected…
