We’d still get an NY6 spot, right?

Im not sure LSU would fall behind them. Losing to the number one team in their home state isn’t exactly a huge negative.

The NY6 spots are based on the CFP rankings in conjunction with conference ties.

No. Citrus Bowl would be the likely destination.

I thought that this could happen:

1. Tennessee-Sugar
2. Bama-Cotton
3. LSU- Orange

Nope. It is almost certain that if LSU loses to UGA, it will be ranked behind those teams.

I agree that if we take a lead and have it competitive and close we may make it but if we lose by 24 we’re off to Camping World Bowl to play Penn State

By virtue of LSU earning an extra game and risking a loss when Tenn and Bama don't have to? If so then there is nothing right about that. Nothing!

Bowl games don’t really matter anymore due to the playoffs.

As long as we finish in Top12, we’ll get a NY6 bowl

All the projections have us losing to Georgia and us still getting NY6 along with Tennessee and Bama

If we lose a close game to Jawja, we should now get Sugar Bowl option

Probably the Cotton if we fall behind both.

The highest ranked non-CFP playoff SEC team would get the Sugar Bowl, so I assume that would be Tennessee. It would suck for us to fall behind Bama after beating them head to head.

While we would have 3 losses, our loses would all be to ranked teams. Tennessee laid an egg and lost to an unranked USCe team.

$aban will do what he always does when they don’t make it to the SECCG, spend the week off making all the sports shows with his mix of whining about them getting everyone’s best effort, and how awesome his last teams were, shamelessly lobbying for them to be in the Final Four. He’s perfectly willing to overlook them not playing in that extra game.

Was hoping someone smarter than me could post the bowl scenarios in here.

Assuming LSU can beat TAM, I thought Sugar would be the worst-case scenario.
