If we had the exact same team but had Mallett at QB?

Which of the following games would we win this year?
Florida?
Bama?
Auburn?
Arky (hypothetically assume they had a QB of the exact same quality as Mallet)?
I'd say good shot at Auburn and Arky, moderate shot at Florida. Not sure about Bama.

If we had the exact same team but Petrino as head coach Jefferson would not see the field, Lee would be the QB, and the Tigers would be odds-on favorites for the national championship.

BCSNC! Without a doubt. I haven't been all that impressed with any one team this yr and I have watched a lot of games. Our D and ST will win us games we don't belong in. They are responsible for 2 wins already.
If we could get a QB that could get RR and TT the ball beyond 25 yrd, the running game would double and we would dominate.

Rex, as much as I disagree with you politically, football-wise I think you're right on the mark.
Had we had Matt Flynn either last year or this year, I think we win the BCSNC. It took me about 3 games last year to see that JJ just didn't have it and never would.

Mallet would throw a few crucial ints and the fans would be all over Miles/Crowton for calling plays that Mallet can't run. It's really a no win situation for MIles.

You must only watch the LSU games. Even with our terrible offense we'll beat Auburn for sure.

The Mallett/Petrino combination has never had a winning SEC record. Be careful what you wish for.

prolly 2 of those. But if we had a Matt Flynn or a Matt Mauck, i think this teams plays for the sec champ and possibly the NC.
