Both Mallet and Petrino are bitches, and I'm glad that neither has any association with LSU.

Mallet = million dollar arm, 10 cent brain, no heart, no balls ... bitch-made. You have seen this before...and will see time and time again.

Even if he shreds us later on....he's still a bitch.

I'd rather have what we've got than Mallet.

Now...on the other hand...if we had, say, even a McElroy or Kellen Moore...i.e. smart, confident QBs who could accomplish the task of managing tha game and getting the ball to playmakers...whole other story.

of course, that also depends on who's calling the plays.

If we're gonna stick with the short-side option...we might want Denard Robinson.

Like I have said before, if we had even a serviceable QB, this team would be lights out. Pencil in 8-0 with Bama coming here, and I would say we would be 9-12 point favorites at home. We are that fricking good everywhere else.

LSU would make Mallet even better. LSU's receivers are better. Ridley would be a huge upgrade. If Arky would have had a dependable running game, they could have kept that lead vs Bama. LSU could use his arm to get up by 14, then the D, special teams, and running game could keep it the lead. Killer combination.

I agree

We don't need the strongest arm QB to win just a decent one. Mallet does not come through in big games and wilted under pressure with the game on the line vs bama. I would much rather have kellen moore.

With mallet I think we roll every team except bama and Uf. Mallet does give us a much better chance to beat those teams then what we currently have but they wouldn't be gimmies.

With our defense and special teams....All + win MNC

Last year we won 4 of 8 games with fewer total yards than our opponents. This year 2 of 4. A productive, not prolific, passing offense is the only thing we're missing.
