we could very easily be 6-1. I think our biggest threat is the FLA game at the swamp.

Don't see LSU beating UF at the swamp unless they improve drastically. Heck winning at Auburn is not going to be easy..

Agreed. UF beat the snot out of Kentucky this weekend. UF is definitely better than the respect their getting. Problem is even if we're 6-1 going into Ole Piss, best we'd be ranked is maybe 15.

If we are 6-1 going into ole miss I would feel that we are 1 game worse that we SHOULD have been at that point.

ask this question after this week. It all depends on how Etling looks with a week of prep as the starter vs an SEC team.

rankings aren't relevant anymore in today's college football. It's all about winning the West and then the SECCG and getting an invite to the playoff. Polls are a relic from the past. Ignore them.

The rankings always depend on what happens to the teams ranked higher. Five Mondays from now a lot will have happened, I'm guessing LSU would be somewhere between 8-12.

Edit to say why even worry about where LSU would be ranked before they get to 6-1,which is perhaps not likely but certainly possible. A 6-1 LSU team regardless of rank would have everything still in front of them at that point.

Sure. But this is a hypothetical question assuming both of those things happen.

Depends on how the team is playing. If we see improvement on both sides of the ball and start playing some good football then yes.
If we are just hanging on and playing sloppy then no.

why?

Their fans are, well, Florida people, so you know what you're getting.

But the stadium itself is a great environment for college football. I've been going there for 15 years for one game per year (obviously it's LSU every other year) and it's always loud and energized.

I think the complaint is there isn't much else to do in Gainsville

I've never been so I can't comment
