Some of you are whiny twits. Since when does the Chick-fil-a bowl game equal the "worst"? I guess this thread is full of young peeps who have no idea what happened in the 90's or what bowl games are held in Shreveport and Nashville.

........and if you had read my ENTIRE post, you'd see that is the point I'm making. I could care less if we go to a BCS or non-BCS bowl. None of them are the championship game. So, all that matters is the matchup and the city the game is in. I'd rather go to Orlando than New Orleans honestly.

Obviously you haven't heard the pleading for an OC!! We are not playing good football right now and have regressed as a team..or do you not see that? Sloppy play calling, sloppy defense, etc. should not be happening at this time of the year.

Meh..................our defense is just worn down. It happens all the time to teams toward the end of the season. Besides, it ain't like Arkansas scored more than two touchdowns. The defense will be fine at the bowl game. I have no real complaints offensively. They didn't play their best at Arky but, they weren't horrible. From the point we played Alabama I've been happy with this offense. It's balanced and now has a QB who can actually move the offense. We'll blow out whoever we play in the bowl game.

It is the worst for this program right now.
When the program goes back into the shitter (hopefully in a long long time, but it'll happen eventually) we'll all adjust our expectations accordingly.
I don't know what the majority of the people think, but 2012 was the first season I've ever entered the season with an absolute "championship or bust" mentality. That makes going to the god-damn CFA bowl that much worse. I didn't expect 2011 to walk out on the field this year for the Tigers, but I thought I'd see some of the marks of that team to show me that that type of team is more the norm than an anomaly. After this season I honestly don't think I'll ever see a team like that again under Miles, and it sucks.

It wasn't one thing. Like I said after the game it was death by a thousand cuts. The dumb fake field goal, the long field goal attempt...it all ads up.
yeah it all added up to the #1 team having no timeouts with less than 2 minutes left against a defense that was playing stellar at home. But just all the bad things is just so convenient to blame

The program is so bad that the recruiting clas in 13 is ranked #2 in the country and the '14 class may very well be th best LSU has ever had.

Well a 6-6 ga tech could get the auto bid to the orange bowl. Thats what happens when all other conferences are inferior. Not one conference has a top 6 like the sec.
The Sec is set up for the future. We will most likely always have 2 teams in the playoffs and we will have tie ins to the sugar and orange bowl.

Bama game doesnt matter if we lose the others. If we arent at 10 wins, this wouldnt be an argument. Les Miles is the reason your expectations are so high.

I'm clearly not implying it's on its way down right now. At some point in my life the LSU program will be in a bad place. At that time I will adjust expectations. Right now however, cfa is pretty much worst case scenario for an Lsu season, which means the program is in a great place overall.
