And I think he does, even if he doesn't they'll probably give him one to "honor" him

For the first time, you made a good post.

He definitely should. They drop him from IR, he goes through an enormous amount of pain going through rehabs, gets walking and running again, gets picked up again by the Giants.... he deserves it IMO.

Too bad Ryan Perrilloux wont get one.

WikiLink

"After going undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings invited Perrilloux to tryout for the team. He was later signed by the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League. On January 13, 2011, Perriloux was signed to a reserve/future contract with the New York Giants. On September 3, 2011, he was cut from the Giants' roster. He was re-signed the same day to the practice squad. He was released from the practice squad on September 17, and was re-signed again on September 23. Perrilloux was waived again on September 28. He was re-signed to the practice squad on October 8, but released again on October 12, only to be re-signed again on October 17.[25] He was released from the practice squad again on November 2, 2011 [26] and signed to the practice squad again on November 11, 2011 before being released once again on November 26, 2011. Nah. Practice squad contracts are short on purpose. Supposedly players are constantly signing new practice squad contracts.

Those rings do not cost the Giant's organization 70k a pop.

Don't you people even think about these numbers before you type them?

Exactly my point.....people don't think about the numbers, they just repeat them.

Whoever said that on the radio was wrong, and anyone with common sense who takes 5 seconds to think about it knows it.

1) NFL covers the cost of the first 150 rings anyway.

2) The actual cost is more like 5 grand for each. Why the frick could you get one on eBay for like 3 grand if they were bought for nearly 200 grand?
