define successful. Murphy caught a screen vs. UNC then promptly fumbled.

and we had some nice bubble screens going to Shep a few games back out of an I-form twins look (thrown by Lee).

Rex looks like you get it! Still cant believe we have people on here thrilled we gave up 500 yds rushing to Auburn. The most ever given up by an LSU defense.

thought hatcher and mathieu probably turned in the best defensive performances.

I thought Claiborne & Taylor were the only ones with good games. Baker was very active, so you can give him some credit too. Everybody else sucked.

Nevis = sucked

Sheppard = sucked

Peterson = sucked

Did I miss something? Our first deep throw was to the flag, underthrown and almost picked. Our second deep throw was picked. Our third was dropped. Our fourth was a TD throw by a freshman running back. Les knew we couldn't afford turnovers, and Aub's front four put way to much pressure on us to get more deep throws in.

The fact that we completely threw out the option of even spying him got me a bit upset.

Same thing when jimbo didn't throw deep against auburn's depleted db's. Can't remember the year. Common denominator is Miles. But Crowton will be the scapegoat.

Took a poor angle on AU's game winning TD run.

yeah i gave baker some love in another thread, like i said he's probably been our most consistent LB this season. i got throttled for calling out sheppard after the tennessee game.

They can't complete the long ball. Period.

i'd reckon every QB who faces AU this year will have some deep success

with our WRs, almost any QB could be a deep ball threat

that was like a 12-15 yard pass

that was not a "deep ball"

Those don't have the same effect as a RB screen though. You really can't compare the two. It's why I specifically mentioned a RB screen.

That's not fair. Crowton loves the wide screen receiver for a 1 yard loss because none of our receivers block worth a shite.

No it wasn't. Revisionist history. You're embarrasing yourself.

He took a terrible angle on that play. That thing could have been stopped for a 5 yard gain at the most had he not ran right by the RB
