LMAO, if I were The Hat I would get the hell away from the LSU fanbase as quick as I could...
Hope he stays and finds an OC, because Les can coach and win a lot more games at LSU.

Captain Leach but would take Rich Rod if we couldnt get Leach.

Leach with all out talent on Offense would be like a pyromanic with the keys to the fireworks factory. It would be explosive, and people would die.

What are y'alls thoughts?

Yeah, I'm in.

Would West Virginia take RR back?

I know he's a good OC, but I freaking hate that option offense he runs. With the skill position players we get, I don't think his offense would utilize them fully.

You do know he's run different spread offenses?

Shaun King, Pat White, Denard Robinson all ran an offense more tailored to their strengths.

That's something The Wiz can't fn do.

Don't take my dislike of his offense as an endorsement of Crouton.

Now, tailored to whose strengths? Running quarterbacks. I'm tired of the spread not utilizing our huge skill position advantage. I do think he's a much better offensive mind than Crouton, but I just don't believe the spread option will ever fully utilize the types of stud receivers we have in the LSU pipeline.

I personally don't like coaches with too much baggage. We have enough drama with such high expectations here at LSU.

He can run a pretty dynamic offense but he is a dirt bag, imho.

How is he a dirt bag?

I think they would have, until they signed Holgorsen.

Great season, best in the last 50 years at Tulane. Still, I don't want to see him at LSU.

He'd most likely get another head coaching job somewhere

Awesome.

So your contention that RR is a spread option OC only is not true, but you still wouldn't want him at LSU - just cause?

BTW, Shaun king threw for 2500+ yards and 24 TDs in 2007. Denard Robinson threw for 2400+ and 16 TDs this season. JJ has thrown for less than 1300 yards and 4 TDs.

And it's not like he would run the defense. He would bring a fun and potent offense to LSU.

The main thing we're lacking.

I'm not saying he would come here, but to dismiss the idea because you don't like his offense is ridiculous.
