Now that I've fully read your post, why are you upset at the strength of schedule?

It matters more than most, as you should know being a LSU fan.

Even outside of that, lots of publications have LSU at 13 or above. That definitely means lsu is in the argument.

I want to see our offense purr in 2011, Cock. Averaging less than 30 points/game is unacceptable.

Yep, it always disappointed me about 2003. That & getting Zooked in Tiger Stadium. No Offensive points..unacceptable.

Never said LSU didn't have an argument, don't put words in my mouth. I just said they aren't a top 10 all time power. Strength of schedule should never be worth more than winning percentage

What? We averaged 33 points/game in 2003.

It was. Great thing that team fought back the rest of the season and won the first national title in decades in addition to an SEC title.

So which is it, are they a top ten power or not?

I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm just trying to understand your argument.

Huh. It seemed like much less.

It caused a split MNC with USC. Luckily, 2007 made up for the drubbing at T.S. by the fighting Zookers in '03.

It is basketball. No one cares. Who knows how women's golf is doing. It is the same relevance.

Les is a good coach and I like his quirkiness. I only have one concern. He is 14-10 the last 3 years in SEC play. We have no appearances in Atlanta in the Title game. I am not talking about winning SEC Titles, but West Titles. If he doesn't win a West Title here next year he will get a reputation as a coach who wins alot of games but can't win another big one. The program has his stamp on it 100% and we have a 1 cotton bowl victory to show for the last 3 years. I am hopeful for next year, but we will see.

Naw, he already won the big one, and it's not a split title.

It sucks for you that your memory only goes back 3 years. Your problem, not Miles'

LSUsports.net and NCAA.com keep these stats. It's a great thing to be able to go back and look stuff up.

I don't give a damn about the AP trophy. We won the game against OU to secure the BCS national title.

Halfway is good enough? I thought you wanted to destroy opponents & demand their respect?

If the AP voters wanted to give it to a team who didn't beat the #1 ranked BCS team in the Sugar Bowl that year and instead beat Michigan or whoever it was USC beat, that's on them. We beat the #1 ranked team. And we won a conference title game, which Pac-10 didn't play.

I do. 2007 would have been more satisfying had we had less than 2 losses.
