So you link me to some obscure site? Wow, consider me taught a lesson.

Oh, and I sorted by just winning percentage points, and we were 20th

80+ years of strength of schedule? What the hell? In most cases its weighted to be worth double multiple national championships?

College football warehouse is no off the wall website, it breaks down everything for college football by every which way possible.
Your statement was wrong, time to give up

Thanks.
Top 10:
1. Alabama
2. Notre Dame
3. Southern Cal
4. Oklahoma
5. Michigan
6. Texas
7. Ohio State
8. Nebraska
9. LSU
10. Tennessee

So I'm supposed to admit I'm wrong, when Alabama's high number of national championships is worth less than their "strength of schedule"? Are you kidding me? Unfortunately, SoS was the only thing that put LSU in the top 10 in that list, and its by far the oddest variable in their top 10 make up.

LOL, that website is one of the oldest and most used websites when looking at college football history. You're failing miserably.

Cock, is Chavis going to give us a defense that allows us to finish first in scoring defense in 2011?

If you are going to argue that Alabama isnt definitely in the argument for the number one spot then I am wasting my time.

I might have failed miserably on that, I'll admit. But the "All Time Rankings" are very oddly weighted. Oh well, I guess I gotta shine up my purple and gold sunglasses.

Well, let me put this in your terms... you failed miserably with that post.

Football will always be king at LSU.
I understand the "taste" for success dsome of you are experiencing with Football.
Go look at how freakin good those mid 80's football teams were. There was no calling for Arnsbargers head when he was winning and YET Basketball WAS HUGELY popular. We would wait outside for tickets through the elements just to get a peek into the AC when the Tigers were playing.
It is really sad that some of you have not experienced what we did. Now Baseball was on the rise as well so I say that around 1987-88 were the best years for LSU all three sports. Include T&F in that as well.

I'm not saying your ranking of LSU out of the top 10 is crazy, just saying to dismiss that link as some obscure website doesn't help your case.

Yes, that was an error on my part. However, to have schools that have won 5+ National Championships only being weighted 20% on that criteria is insane.

Naw, he's gonna wait until 2012.

Have you ever seen 93,000 lined up to see a basketball game???
Right or wrong, success in football gives all the other coaches more rope. imo
And come on, football hasn't had to fire a coach in 11 years. TJ didn't come here 2&1/2 seasons ago to take over a Sweet 16 type program.
Miles get way more BS than he should, but that's cause he has spoiled us with winning and winning big,
