You can bandaid that program all you want, but that's not going to cure the problem.

I would love to see Harris under Jimbo or Chip.

Sure, Harris entering year 3.5 would be a less optimal option than some random schmo who just parachuted onto campus in August. Good call.

That "schmo" needs to be on campus in January before classes start.

Dude he can't get it done in this offense. Seriously. He can't complete simple 5-7 yard passes. That's what we need in this offense. Can he improve? Sure. But I don't think he magically becomes accurate. But hey...he throws a pretty deep ball.

For a first year starter Harris has played extremely well. People expect him to come out and win a heisman first year?

With the understanding that our defense was supposed to be good and possibly improved all we had been saying is how QB needed to improve just a bit.

QB improved tremendously. Defense however was not as good as we were assuming it would be.

You think it is coaching. He can't throw a short pass. I can...you probably can...but he can't. That's not on coaching.

Have you seen significant improvement from Harris this year?

compared to last year yes.

By your logic Leonard Fournette hasn't improved at all.

If your idea of tremendously is hitting a few long passes and not turning the ball over, sure.

Lol. No it didn't...not in the big games. He was awful in those. He can't throw a short pass....that won't work.

I mean has Harris improved from game 1 to now this year?

Not really.

If you people don't see improvement then you don't want to see the improvement

Les may as well put LF7 under center with Guice and Williams in the backfield. You'd probably have better success.

I would say yes, but the competition has greatly increased.
And he could take another step forward next year.

I think the scheme is bad. All vertical routes, nothing underneath. His check down is too far down in his progression if he even has one.

If you can't tell that Harris doesn't have what it takes to lead LSU to a National Championship, then you have blinders on.

25/51 1 TD 2 INT.

Such an improvement.

Is it scheme holding him back or is it schemed such because he make the read/throws?

It's the latter.

No one has a shot with how below par the defense/ST have been lately

I think the more comfortable he gets the more he will make the throws people just seem to think he is physically incapable of making.

Touch can be learned. Timing can be learned. But 80% of the time he only throws it deep.

Cam's progressions are deep to shallow. Thats his thing. nothing to do with Harris. Which is the issue. IT has nothing to do with what is best for our QB.

He has shown really good touch on throws but it's inconsistent

The WRs are somewhat to blame this season too imo
