BEAT BAMA. That's all Les Miles has to do to keep his job at LSU at least another year in my opinion. Even if LSU goes 6-6 and plays in the Ramen Noodle Bowl, if LSU FINALLY beats Bama after five straight losses, both the fan base and administration will forgive his faults and give him another year. Beating Saban is the medicine that would heal our wounds suffered by that terrible loss yesterday.

This situation is beyond beating Bama.

Didn't someone suggest earlier that LSU would be favored against Bama?

No, it won't save him. He may very well beat BAMA, but it won't mean anything because we'll have too many losses. It's a SEC and National Championship that would save him, and that won't happen.

We thought we had it bad yesterday... how about Kentucky fans?? Their team was leading 35-10 at one point and completely pooped the bed after that, letting Southern Miss score 34 un-answered points to lose 44-35. Damn...

I disagree at this point. We are trying to win SEC or National Championships. If we look like shite for half the season and then somehow beat Bama, it would be great, but ultimately, we have too much talent to look so shitty so often.

And after watching Bama's D last night, they looked even better than they looked last year. They are lightning fast on D and tough as nails.

Irrelevant because it'll never happen, but this is such bullshite. Beating Alabama is not going to cure the problems of this program. NOTHING Les Miles does should allow him to keep his job. NOTHING. It's too late. He had his chances and he blew them. The only thing he can do to help the LSU football program, as if that ever mattered in the least to him, is immediately announce his resignation. If he must, he can make it effective at the end of the season, but the sooner the better. At least this way we can get a head start on finding his replacement. It's the least he can do for the school he has defrauded out of millions with millions more still to come.

I am sure UK fans enjoyed that ... all the scoring and shite that offense is supposed to do.

Please tell me ... what part of yesterday was even remotely enjoyable for an LSU fan?

Trust me, I want LSU to finish the year undefeated and win the whole thing. It may be a pipe dream, but like any die-hard fan, that's what I want most for my team. It's just I'm very concerned that since LSU got pushed around by a Big Ten team, how are they going to fare against other SEC teams? Not saying the Big Ten sucks, but come on, 9 times out of 10 the SEC is better.

The nightmare scenario is either a losing season or a mediocre one. The only silver lining to either of those scenarios is if LSU somehow could defeat Bama and Darth Saban.

Who gives a shite about Bama at this point?

Everyone always accentuates the Bama game and losing to them.

Everyone acts as if Less goes 11-1 every year with his lone loss to Bama.

You could lose to Bama every year and still keep your job.

The real problem is losing to Bama AND Arkansas and Ole Miss. That's his problem.

Yea, it sucks losing to Bama every year, but you damn sure better not lose to teams you should be able to beat like fricking Arkansas.

That's the shite that gets you fired.

i wish he'd beat bama and get immediately fired after

instead he'll get humiliated, deliver a quirky postgame presser, and keep his job

Well we don't have to worry about that with our offense. Bama will frick us in holes we didn't even know we had at this point

Unless we try to open up the offense and figure out our OL, we will not beat bama and we will have a new coach next year.

Thats Kentucky.....completely different standards. Their coaches get paid about 1/8th of what the LSU staff gets paid.
