Simple. This is probably the 20th thread on how cool it would be to bring in the new Mike at the Bama game. We all know this will never happen.

Nice try.

I pointed out in that thread what Dr. Baker and LSU administration said--that conditions for LSU obtaining a live tiger mascot are different and more challenging in 2016 than they were 20 years ago or even in 2007, when Mike VI arrived.

Alexander and LSU higher ups have stated their intention to get another tiger, for which I am glad. This was not known before Mike VI's cancer spread.

Could the difficulty regarding getting a tiger from a reputable rescue hinder the search and could LSU fail to obtain another mascot? Possibly. I hope not.

There. I've spelled it out for you, so you should be happy. Let me know if I need to come back and do it again in words of fewer syllables.

Yep.

And then you said it was likely Mike VI would be the last live tiger we had.

So I didn't try, I directly quoted you saying what I said you did.

Would you say that it is "likely"?

Let me know if I need to come back and do it again in words of fewer syllables.

Let me help you out:

I said:

quote:

Because you seemed pretty confident that we weren't getting one in the past

You responded with:

quote:

Point out where I said that.

Where I literally point out where you said it:

quote:

it is likely that the tradition of live tigers on campus ends with Mike VI.

Definition of likely

You so smart

And I get it. You loved Mike. You just act like you're the authority figure on everything Mike related, and then shite on anyone else who may have a disagreeing OPINION on his care. We all love Mike.

K?

Leave it to someone to always derail a decent thread with a negative tone on everything

We would have heard about it by now if a tiger had been found and adopted. Much less if it was being brought to the Bama game for its first appearance (which it wouldn't be)

They won't announce a Tiger has been found until it is here.

Just think if Dr. Baker walked a new cub out of the tunnel and onto the field 5 minutes before kickoff next Saturday night. We probably would be heard straight into Mississippi.

It would be the "Mike VII earthquake" game!

The resulting earthquake from the collective roar of the fans would be too big for the Geology dept. machines to measure!!

And yes, I used "roar" purposely.
