Our fans would whine about a black QB leading the team.
That's why no one liked Rohan Davey and JaMarcus Russell.

We would still be having the same pass protection problems we have had since '09.....yes there are more players on the field than the qb and head coach.

According to the announcers tonight it was the reason Bridgewater choose Louisville

Cool, that's not the reason though.
Okay, not that I'm saying you are wrong, because I certainly don't know anything different, but the announcers got that from somewhere.

I've heard a lot of stories about various recruits about how they were slighted by a bigger school and that's why they chose where to go. Very rarely are those stories accurate, but they sound good to the people that don't know what really went on.

Also, am I the only person that remembers people backing off of Bridgewater during his recruitment because they were scared he'd be another Jacory Harris?

Usually announcers talk to players before the games.

If LSU would have recruited Bridgewater and RG3
Our offensive staff does not evaluate Qb talent well.
Example: taking the commit from a 270lbs, 18yo Qb LOL

This.
Jeremy liggins. At qb

And the players are always giving an unbiased account of the events?

Let's not take into account hindsight at all.

How were we supposed to know RG3 and Bridgewater would turn out the way they did?

How were we supposed to know that JJ and JL would turn out the way they did?

All 4 of these guys were 4 star recruits coming out of HS. It all has to do with coaching and the system they go into.

Griffin would have gotten killed at LSU since miles would have pegged him as a pure running QB and ran the stupid sprint option and zone read 50 times a game and let him throw only 5 yard outs and swing passes to Shepard

Lol, we wanted bridgewayer and would have taken his commitment. Actually we would have taken him over rivers and randle. They still would have gone after mett though.

Yeaj LSU fans. As soon as we knew we wouldnt get him he became not good enpugh for LSU. Our fans are morons and im sick of it. Basically any black qb weve recruited the fans didnt want cus hed be another running qb.

Now that these qbs did well at other schools the fans are in an uprage over a kid they never wanted us to recruit in the first place.

RGIII's career would've been similiar to Russell Shepard.

This is such crap! If you go back and watch RS during the Under Armor QB challenge it was very evident that he was never going to be a Division 1 QB. Then in his first year he was undersized and not very strong. I think our biggest mistake with RS was no converting him to play CB. He was tremendous covering kickoffs this year and I believe he would have made a good nickel back, but then again look at who he would have been completing against during his time at LSU.

I'm talking about schools not named Louisville, LSU, or Miami. A lot of schools stopped recruiting him.
