The coaching staff has NO IDEA how to evaluate and or coach QB talent period. That being said our o line will be improved next year which should help Mett to some degree. I will say that Mett has his work cut out for him though. From what I have seen the kid has zero awareness and his limited athleticism is a problem..

Bridgewater was recruited very hard by LSU.......

As a WR/TE, which is why he didn't choose LSU.

No doubt Pittman. It really hurts Mett's stock in my book that he has hardly any awareness. We need a true Triple threat QB in the worst way, that can be creative and open up defenses. It just hurts us so bad that Mett has almost 0 mobility, makes our offense entirely to predictable.

Me Bite I thought we recruited him as TE/WR.

It's like every great dual threat QB LSU wants to make them play WR or defense

Roger. If LSU would run the offense (spread) that those guys run, they would have had success here as well.

RG3 wouldnt have played a down at QB had he made the dumb decision to come to LSU.

Lucky for him he didnt and is now ROY in the NFL.

I never liked JJ.

I never liked Lee either. Dude didn't even start playing the QB position until around his sophomore or junior year of high school. Yeah he piled on stats for a good high school team.. but still never saw him as a natural comfortable QB.

Huh? He was Gatorade player of the year in LA, a 4 star recruit and had several offers. Ole Miss was one of them.

He had about as many legitimate offers as Bridgewater.

Neither of them would have seen the field. Why the hell does Miles even waste time recruiting dual threat qb's when all he wants to run is a bullshite Michigan offense???????

Bridgewater is incredible.

But I Don't blame him for not coming to LSU.

He got to start as a freshman and become freshman of the year in his conference.
