sU won't win the SEac much less the BCSNC, so I'm not worried about your subject.
If the offense had a qb, it would be a special season and everyone knows it, so stop being a dumbass and open your eyes.

I don't accept the premise of the question because it's not even close to a reality.

Do you really think LSU can win a NC with the 102 ranked offense in the nation?

Take a look....BAMA is ranked 5th in the nation in total offense, and oh, BTW, their Defense is getting better by the week.

Please ask a reasonable question.

You do realize how much money is being paid to each coordinator, don't you? The complaints have more to do with the fact that such a highly paid coordinator can't field a decent offense. It's pitiful the amount of talent and opportunity that the offense has in comparison to say a team like Boise State who is working with half the facilities and a much lower talent levels. The defense and special teams will eventually ware down and we'll be left with a shell of a team.

As I stated yesterday in a similar thread, I credit the fact that we're currently 4-0 to the constant bitching.

My only worry is - can we keep it up?

Think about it...

We griped our team to a last minute win over a severely depleted NC team.

Then, we bitched our guys up good for Vandy - but the criticism didn't kick in untill the 4th quarter!

Antcipating a slaughter by an up and coming MSU team, we doubted the sh*t out of our guys and then added some Sabanesque post game whining just to keep the momentum going.

And last Saturaday? Saturday we almost lost because of all the positigers that spoke in support of the team all last week!

Luckily, the true fans were able to boo us to victory over a crappy WVU team.

My concern is this. If we don't kick the menstrual cycle into high gear, we can forget a NC run, we'll be lucky to beat Tennesse - much less Alabama, Florida, Auburn, or Arkansas.

I think it's a valid question. Superior defense and special teams have won many football championships at every level. All the LSU offense has to do is get out of the way. Right now, it's IN the way -- so something needs to be corrected four games into the season. Run the ball like you can, hit a few big plays with Shepard and Randle, and simplify everything on offense. Keep JJ out of the pocket. Let him sprint out toward one or two receivers, or let him play-action and throw deep once the run is established. The rest of it is nonworking nonsense with him. Why push it? The defense and special teams will carry this train to glory if not undermined by turnovers, flags and minus-yardage possessions.

Two comments:

1) If having a passing O rated anywhere over 100 is worth $4M, we can't afford to have a Top10 passing O.

2) We are about to see how a Big10 O would work in the SEC. Bo Jr. has a Big10 mentality trying to compete against the staunch defenses of the SEC. 4-0 or 5-0 (if we are fortunate enough to defeat Tenn) means nothing, except that we will qualify to play in the New Orleans Bowl if we can defeat McNeese.

If you feel that strong..put up your money.
I will take that bet...any amount.
we do not have a chance.....

all the love for LSU will not bring about a NC this year.

the question is actaully very comical, will we bitch if we win a national championship? of course there will still be bitching, but there is absolutley no chance that we win the NC. without question we have a NC caliber defense, but I believe that my 6 year old son could have better control over the offense than does JJ. I don't know the answer to the problems that we have on offense right now but I want to see something different, or i will just stop watching. I am not saying that JL will be the answer but I know for damn sure that he can't do any worse.
