Is there that much money to be made in a 6-5 bowl ?

Trump won, get over it. Are you serious. It is not a Penn State situation. We fired a head coach. Fournette should not have played the Auburn game, much less any games after. The seniors should play a bowl game.

Alleva would have to be fired. You don't turn down a post season invite in two sports

This thread is awful. Free practice time for potential new recruits. LSU would never turn down a bowl game in my opinion, because you're robbing all of those seniors that came back this year of their senior bowl game. Even if it is the Independence Bowl. No senior wants to end his career with a loss to frickin A&M.

Those extra practices would be helpful, as would competing in a game format.

Let's hope football does not make the same mistake LSU basketball did last season.

They're not turning down money from a bowl game.

Most lower bowls it actually costs the school money to play when it's all said and done. They would actually save money by not playing.

Not to say I think they turn one down for any circumstance whatsoever. The practices are too valuable. But you'd be surprised how little schools actually get when it's all said and done.

Of course you don't. You don't care because you don't like Miles. You're probably one of those fans that decided his first game or two way back in 2005 that you weren't going to support him. It's stupid to feel that way, in my opinion, but I know there's quite a few of you folks out there

The guy needed to be fired after last November and the first month of this season. But if you looked at his overall record without any hate towards the man, you would realize that his career record at LSU was pretty damn good.

TX Tiger,

Have you always been such a hand wringing, whining little PU$$Y, or is this a recent development?

An additional month of practice, additional television exposure and at least $1million for the program, but you just want to pout, take your ball and go home.

That's the sort of $hit the JERRY STOVALL pulled. It sucked then and it sucks now! If you can't see that, then take you ball and shove it straight up you sensitive little A$$!

I am so sick of you salad toss'n, entitled fans!

Oh yeah! And I call bullshite. If you'd be a real Tiger fan through the lean years ('89 - '94) you would'nt suggest doing further harm to the program beacause you itty bitty feelings were hurt.

Now, reach down and see if you've got a pair!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!
