IF LSU wins out and defeats UGA/USC in the SEC title game-LSU will play for the NC no matter who is undefeated!!! Book it!!!!

An unbeaten Clemson and Oregon will be In before a one loss LSU.

I would say if LSU has no chance in BCS, then I dont care who makes it. But if they beat Bama and by default takes Bama out of BCS picture, and then play in SEC championship, to me it is the best thing other than playing in BCSNCG.

Well.... seems every year there are teams knocking on the proverbial BCS title game door but they always seem to stumble late. This has given 1 loss SEC team (Alabama) a chance and they have certainly taken advantage. We'll just have to see how the year plays out...... IF at least 2 of these teams go undefeated (Oregon or Stanford, Ohio State, Clemson or Florida State) and Ala. loses to LSU then yes SEC will be out of BCS title game IMHO.

Bama will find a way in, don't y'all worry. Media will want Bama v. Oregon or Bama v OhioSt.

Other sec teams will have to earn it.

What about a one lose LSU? They will have beaten Bama, Ole Miss, TAMU, Georgia or USC

Exactly. If the NCAA keeps any one loss SEC team out of the NC, then the SEC should simply withdraw from the NCAA and set up their very own league.

Everyone knows how separated the SEC is from the rest of the NCAA in terms of schedule strength (less Alabama)and pure athleticism. That LSU Georgia game looked more NFLish than any college game I have ever seen.

I'm willing to bet nobody will be undefeated but Ohio St at the end of the year, then it's who had the better loss, SOS, and the poll position they are in the week before.

We'd win out or Stanford/Oregon, having more wins against better competition.

Does anyone remember what happened in 2007 when LSU two losses but still got in because we won our conference Championship and the others ahead of us lost theirs? A one loss SEC team providing they win the SECCG will get in because of strength of schedule, none of the other conference teams have the strength of schedule the SEC teams have, the SEC will prove it's dominance once again...

If we beat Bama, win the SEC championship, but still get left out because of 1 loss, then I am ok with this. Sure, it would be great to be in the National Championship game. But let's face it, keeping Bama out is almost as good

Bama is the only SEC team that has a shot at the MNC.

There will be at least 2 other undefeated teams.

If LSU is not in the title game, who cares? The last thing LSU or any fans of any other SEC team should want to see is Alabama win another title.

As a fan, I'd love to See Oregon play Clemson that should be a great game to watch.

Oregon maybe. But Ohio State would be the #7 team in the SEC

I have to agree with this based on prior experiences.

Don't sleep on the ACC. I hate to admit it but there are some really good teams in the ACC this year. If Clemson or FSU wins the ACC and goes undefeated they are in the NC game. I think the only way the SEC gets in this year is if Bama stays undefeated. Or if there are not at least 2 undefeated teams left. If Clemson stays undefeated and Georgia wins out they are not going to jump Clemson.

I agree but with teams like Ohio state and Oregon are so much Better than the teams on their schedules.

you are out of your mind...

BAMA, GEORGIA, SC, LSU, TAMU, would beat both right now. They always look good until they play someone, nobody is good in the Big Flop Ten, and the Pac-12 isnt that strong...

This is the year of offense for the SEC because of so many young defenses, but they will get better as the year goes.
