I don't think so. I think Les retires at the end of 2019, no matter what.

Before a month ago, he kind of figured he would break Mac's win record in late 2018 or early 2019.

It could have been a positive transition. Now it will be a negative one because we have a brutally incompetent athletic director (and he may be a fine money guy, but he is HORRIFIC with personnel and in a crisis).

He's what, 28 wins shy of Charlie Mac's record?

At 8-11 wins per season, he'd likely get there by the time his contract expires. He'd also be 65 or 66 years old.

I swear, the longer this goes on, the more I think Les will stay for 2016 and pop-off with some ridiculous '10 and '11 type season...

Mac was 137-59-7

Miles is at 110-32 with 2 (possibly) to play in 2015.

(Miles is 137-53 overall - just shockingly similar to Mac, although Mac was head coach only at LSU).

lots of people support him, but these last 3 weeks has turned many people against him. Myself included.
