Wish Coach Lindsey the best. His return next year would mean how many consecutive years with a different DL coach? That has to stabilize.

Though this is likely true, how does it make sense of the media reports(our so trusted insiders) that our offer may have been larger, at worst so comparable in the end it wasn't the difference? He chased, we offered to pay but suddenly we are the good, moral high ground guys? We got outrecruited no matter how you spin it. Whatever it takes to cope I guess.

We came no where near $500,000 guaranteed upfront just to sign and $650,000 a year on top of that. If you think we did then I have some oceanfront property in Opelousas I’d like to sell you.

Pointing out facts isn’t coping. Simmons didn’t mention coaching or facilities or recruiting directors as to why he committed there. It’s the financial situation he’ll have there to take care of his family. From his own mouth.
