And Nick Saban is a world class a-hole yet he brings championships because his teams have discipline. It takes that kind of coach to promote discipline. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

"His recruiting is piss poor and his record is lukewarm at best."

Piss poor recruiting? WRONG
NBA talent
Victor Oladipo 2nd overall draft pick
Cody Zeller 4th overall draft pick
Noah Vonleh 9th overall draft pick
Yogi Ferrell NBA starting point guard as a rookie
Thomas Bryant 20th overall recruit class of 2015

Lukewarm record? WRONG. He's won over 27 games 3 times already at Indiana something LSU has done twice in over 30 years. He's won 29 games something LSU has done once in our entire history. He's won 2 of the last 5 Big Ten titles.

He had a 10 win season. Something IU he never done

He won the peach bowl and finished #11 in the country When is the last time we did that?

Hire Dinardo. He will being instant success here at IU

Also if we saw our players coached by him compared to what Jones I think the difference would be so great ppl will quickly lose their skepticism.

I wonder if the current players would even stay to play for Crean. His personality is polar opposite to JJ's.

His first three years he had to rebuild the program, since then he's never won less than 17 games and he's won less than 20 only twice. Since then he's 138-69 an avg of 23-11 per year. If you don't think that's good enough for LSU I'd ask you to kindly remove your head from your arse. I don't get this Mid- major hard on fans have, the chances of that panning out are so low it's unreal and at a school like ours it's almost a certain death sentence. You hire the big league coach who knows how to beat great teams with top athletes, not the bitty ball coach who can pile up empty wins with cheap tricks.

That's about as dumb a comparison as anyone has ever tried to pull off on the rant. I salute you for the effort but you're on another planet with that one. Even the post is stupid you give his IU resume to pitch to IU? Wtf dude drink some coffee and wakeup.

That's a good point and the reason Jones should've been fired mid season. But let's just say most stay, Crean had the best offense in the country last season and our guys are offensive oriented. It'll be a great fit players to coach wise.

crean is a real a-hole and would isolate himself from the fans like brady did IMO.

he's a very polarizing dude. when you're winning, being an a-hole is tolerated. when you're losing? you're a loser a-hole.

I've been watching his teams since he was at Marquette and last night was the first time anyone has ever referred to him as an a-hole. Another fake story from the rant. Besides who cares if he wins, and he always wins.

Explain?

Dinardo finished seasons ranked 25, 13, and 12 here at LSU

Creans best finishes were

ranked 16 in final rankings and lost in sweet 16, likely remain the same

were 3 and lost in sweet 16, so likely would have been around 10 in final rankings

Ranked 14 and lost in sweet 16. Likely would have stayed the same

So dinardo 25, 13 and 12

Crean 16ish, 10ish, 14ish

IU would die to have Dinardo level success at IU

We would like to have Crean level success here at LSU

Problem is LSU football>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>than IU football

and

IU basketball>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LSU basektball

So, IU hired Dinardo. Surely, he had similar success at IU right?

Half the indiana roster are from indiana. No local recruiting problem.

Compare kansas starting lineup. Not one from kansas or misdouri.

In the last 3 years, there have been 14 ESPN top 100 recruits out of Indiana.

Ole Tommy went 0/14

Again false tommy landed a top 20 recruit just last year. Yogi Ferrell also from Indiana. And if you followed college basketball other than in march you'd know that there are a ton of high school Indiana coaches who have sworn off IU because of the Bobby Knight situation. But that's ok because Tommy still pulled Cody Zeller(no 4 overall draft pick) and he can go national like victor Oladipo( no 2 overall) or Noah Vonleh (no9 overall). But no man he can't recruit.
