Why not? If he used performance enhancing drugs it impacted the outcome of the game like any other sport.

Did PSU vacate wins for the Sandusky situation? Yes. The teams who played PSU were not awarded the win. PSU just had to record it as a loss.
Drug use is not a reason for vacating wins. If that were the case we would hear about it all the time.

Losing team doesn't get win back.

Bama is the only team whose losses don't count

So you're saying LSU should have vacated wins when LSU players failed drug tests?

Really?

Finebaum just said that it would have to be obvious that the team was aware of a player's infraction for any action to be taken against the team.

Wins are not vacated for a player simply failing a drug test.

I cannot recall a single instance of wins being vacated in an active season. I can recall wins being forfeited in an active season subsequent to the games being played. In that instance, the teams that lost the game would be declared the winner.

Every instance of that I recall were instances of teams playing an ineligible player.

A player that fails a drug test that would render him ineligible is only ineligible from the point of that test being reported to the university.

As such, unless Florida received the test results and withheld them prior to the Ole Miss game, the results will stand.

Clear enough? I'm pretty sure this is correct. HCB could probably elaborate. He can be a little snarky at times but he generally knows his stuff and is quite amusing IMO.

Won't have an affect at all. Any vacation of wins (which seems unlikely to me) will happen long after this season has ended.

In what sport does a guy testing positive for a ped result in vacated wins?

Ask Lance Armstrong...

This. You vacate wins, not losses.

They won't have to vacate a win because a guy decided he wanted to be the Matk McGwire of football. If we keep winning, we won't have to worry about any of that.

Does it mean Ole Miss is still undefeated?

Did LSU get awarded the Capital One Bowl victory?

Was OU awarded the 2004-2005 national championship?

Use some common sense

Why would you think wins would be vacated? That's just stupid. They guy is still on the team, just suspended.
