If Charges are dropped?

What would happen if charges where dropped or reduced for Jefferson?
Would Miles allow JJ back on the team?
What would that do for team chemistry?
If Lee had a bad game would Miles put JJ in?
Would JJ's attorney sue LSU to make him the starting QB?

Yes, but not as the starter

Probably nothing considering the players have had "9" chalked on their arms for every game.

I don't think they would have a case. Now, if Jefferson misses his entire senior season and the charges are later dropped, Unglesby would have a field day.

If my aunt had a dick, she'd be my uncle.

I think if Lee has a good game against WVU then he retains the job if JJ comes back. I think the staff realizes what advantages they have with Lee running an unspectacular but steady ship up to this point. The knowns with Lee seem to be greater than the unknowns performance wise with JJ. I also think our run game is better with Lee at QB. Always seems to be a crap shoot with JJ, never know what you're going to get but often times it's bad, real bad, hence the term crap shoot!

I think he'll be back, and I know Miles loves him. It really does worry me, because we are rolling, and you don't want anything that might be devisive. I see him not starting, but the first one in, if there's a problem. This isn't what I want, but what I think happens.

Hopefully he rides the pine. Permanently. He doesn't deserve the starting job after the way Lee has been playing.

Have you seen Jefferson play? Besides the two or three games he did play well last year, what is all the infatuation with JJ all about? I don't get it. The ability to run the option effectively? No. So really. What gives with people still hugging this guy's nuts?

I really don't understand why people think that dropped charges mean that JJ should get to play for LSU again.
I'm not saying that isn't how it will end up working in practice, but it just seems kind of weird. Whatever happened still happened, regardless if the city of Baton Rouge decides to do anything about it or not.

I hope JJ gets to finish his degree, but never sees the field again. He doesn't deserve to just step back in, and Lee has more character...the team is doing FINE without him.

Way too much time on your hands.

If somehow JJ would be placed back on the team soon, i think you would see the rotating QB situation. Neither of them light the place on fire, but they are so different it would open up the offense. I like the way Lee plays, and I think we are good enough to win without JJ, but you know if JJ was back on the team he would play a lot, but not be THE QB

With no dna evidence I think there is a greater possibility that charges will be dropped.
